Don’t let the humble outside fool you, there’s something great going on here.
It’s a quaint store that the local people probably can’t imagine not having in the neighborhood. I was there for a sports venue and have never been here before.
East to find and the staff are very welcoming as when you walk in they greet you almost immediately.
Service was pretty quick even though there were several orders already placed.
They have sauces to try and then you can take your preferred choices with you or to your table.
Food was exceptional and it makes sense when you see how many trophies they have…
Tender brisket, tasty Mac and cheese and baked beans were very good. Presentation and “sterileness” for a takeout order was appreciated.
I will be back, you all have something special going on here. 100%

DoorDashed an order from here. Wasn’t expecting much, was just looking for some bbq. What I received was absolutely amazing however. Their sauces are authentic bbq sauces. Not sugar filled ketchup knockoffs but actual bbq sauces. I ordered a pound of pulled pork with all three sauces as dippers. Flavor filled. You can taste the sauce and the meat. One of the best bbq experiences I’ve had in a long time. Brought back memories of traveling with my dad to try bbq all over the place. They do bbq right and I can whole heartedly recommend them. Also, the meat pulled pork was perfect. If you’re looking for solid, flavorful bbq, give them a chance. You won’t be disappointed.

My fiancee and I were trying to get JSM to cater our wedding. We had a tasting this past August. The owner, Olivia, then sent us a quote about a week later. I have since sent her several emails expressing my interest in wanting to book JSM for our March wedding. No response. I have called Olivia and left a vm – no response. My fiancee has called – no response. As a last ditch effort (at this point it’s been a month and a half), I called the storefront – FINALLY AN ANSWER – the gentleman that answered was very nice and helpful and said he would relay my contact info to Olivia and ask that she reach out asap. Disappointed to say, that once again there has been no response or contact from her. The food was fine, but I am really disappointed by the customer service (mainly from the owner, the front staff has been lovely). I can see from other reviews that folks have had luck with catering weddings in the past, so I’m not sure what the issue is here. But either way would have just appreciated the decency of a response. NOT PROFESSIONAL AS A BUSINESS OWNER.

1) Food: Winning “best BBQ in the Valley” for 12 years, the menu is full of BBQ from brisket to pulled pork sandwiches. Stopping in for lunch, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with two sides and an orange soda. My sandwich came with a tub of vinegar-based BBQ sauce, baked beans (delicious!) and mac and cheese. My pulled pork was quality.
2) Price: For a pulled pork sandwich, two sides and a bottle soda, my bill came to under $11. Visiting from expensive Washington, D.C., I was floored by how cheap a filling lunch is.
3) Space: It’s a small space, but one you’d expect with orange booths, wood walls and a pig mural out front. They have outlets throughout the space and outdoor tables.
4) Service: It’s efficient and friendly. The people behind the counter are willing to walk you through the menu for newcomers.

Jordan Springs blew it out of the water for our wedding. Olivia was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole process, and all of our food at the wedding was absolutely delicious. She set everything up beautifully, added their own touches to their set ups, and the evening ran so smoothly. Her staff was great to work with. Highly recommend for any and all catering events! ❤️

Unreal! This is by far the best BBQ I’ve ever had in Virginia! I grew up in Texas and was blessed to be able to taste authentic BBQ and this going to be a staple for me from now on. I’m so glad I stopped in today and I plan on being a regular! Thanks Ms Olivia!

It’s been a long time since I been to a place where I felt so unwelcomed, even with my safety vest. The staff and the customers were both staring.
I ordered a beef brisket platter with 2 sides (Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens). I got a brisket sandwich with two slices of burnt, greasy bread with a little bit of brisket inside, dry M&C potato chips, and no Collard Greens. When I went back and asked for my Collard Greens, on of the the ladies says I have to prove that I bought a Collard Greens (even though the brisket platter comes with two sides, and she could see I was missing one of the sides on my plate, and I gave them almost $3 tip) so I did prove it. Well, check the picture and see what she gave me for Collard Green. I couldn’t finish one slice of sandwich. Too sad. I’m so sorry I went there.
Never going back, and neither should you if you look weird.

Follow your nose ..☁️.. The smoke is rolling from the smoker and the female pitmaster has the BBQ chicken , pork , and brisket down pat! Fantastic sauces, great service, good sides, and plenty of drink choices including seating inside the market. You have to try the ‘Bama White Sauce….on the Chicken !! The Pork is tender and succulent. Will have to try the Brisket next time.
