Joon Shabu Restaurant is a hidden gem! Their lunch special is an amazing value, offering high-quality ingredients at an affordable price. We opted for the Large lunch combo. The service is top-notch – our server was attentive and friendly.
The meat is sliced thinly to perfection, and the variety of options is great. We loved being able to customize the broth to our taste, which added to the overall experience. The restaurant has plenty of seating, making it easy to get a table even on busy days.
Overall, Joon Shabu Restaurant is a must-try for Shabu lovers. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and generous portions makes it a standout in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

I finally came here today. I made sure to come hungry. It’s a little pricey but so worth it. Very great customer service. Everyone is so nice and helpful. This place is very clean and a great environment. Nice music to go with a perfect meal.
I’ve never had Shabu. It was very new to me. The waitress was very helpful she showed me what I was supposed to do. It’s pretty cool. All the vegetables and meat are top quality. They dipping sauces are all great. They let you sample them all. You will definitely find one you like.

Japanese hot pots. My first time, food was wonderful, but there is a learning curve. Next time I will be better. Lots of choices: sauces, spices, meat, with a mixture of veggies, black rice and noodles choices. Definitely an experience.

This was recommended by my brother and we finally had a chance to try Joon today. What a great, delicious experience. 2 Shabu bars-high/low-We went high. There were 5 types of dipping sauces-2 complimentary per order but they all were so tasty decided to do all 5 ($1.50 for the 5th sauce)Jason gave us a sampling flight so we can decide. For our mains we opted for the Dinner Angus portions. Jason, our server, gave us some quick 101 tips and even prepped the water broth by mixing in a couple sauces, which were so tasty. I really like how generous they are with the condiments (especially the chopped fresh garlic ) The Angus was well portioned as were the vegetables. Kevin, the owner, came by and checked on us. What a nice man and we really appreciated that. Parking is very easy. There are meters on the street and a public lot across from the restaurant, also meters, I think. They were really conscientious in spacing guests far enough apart.

This place is good. I wouldn’t call it a traditional Shabu Shabu house but it’s close enough. I ordered the Angus Beef and for $28 for a large dinner it’s reasonably priced. The Angus Beef had good marble and an excellent taste. What sets this place apart from more traditional Shabu Shabu house is the ability to spruce up your base with a couple of soup bases that they provide for you. One leans spicy while the other is more savory with a little bit of sweetness to it. They also offer 4 or 5 dipping sauces. I tried the Goma and the Soya…both leaned sweet and they don’t really give you a lot of it. Service is good.

This place was quiet the experience. This is a place where you basically make your own Ramen noodle soup. You sit at the bar or table and begin to boil your broth and make your selection of meats and veggies. Then you can add in your sauces are garlic and a whole bunch of other stuff. It’s kind of like KBBQ version of soup. The staff is super friendly and will guide you on how to make your broth just right.
