This is my favorite local restaurant. It is walking distance for me, so I frequent often. Best part is when they know your name and order.
The food here is amazing, my goto is always the lunch special with 3 items. My usual is teri chicken (sauce on side) sushi and sashimi. I am also on onion soup girl and usually do steamed rice, but fried just hit the spot this afternoon.
Chicken is good, but try to limit the teri and save the sodium for the soy sauce. Sashimi is always fresh, and so soft to eat. Melts in your mouth every time! I love the sushi very flavorful, and it never falls apart when I dip in my soy sauce. The onion soup is a great way to prep the palate for the main course and the salad washes it all down. Dressing is also perfect, the salad is my favorite part because of it lol.
Fried rice is delicious, flavorful, fresh and cooked with love.
For drinks, I sipped on iced water along with a soothing Jasmine green tea.
Lets chat staff, ALWAYS so kind, cheerful and welcoming. You really do get spoiled here and the team goes out of their way to know you.
This restaurant lives in a small community plaza so it is easy to miss, or may seem less desirable because its not in a popular location. Whatever you do, stop by, you wont be disappointed. I eat sushi a lot and this is by fay my favorite place and can highly recommend.

While shopping, we saw this little sushi restaurant and decided to stop by.
The ambience was dark yet quaint, and the service was warm and welcoming. As soon as we walked in, there was a server there to greet us and seat us.
Although it was our first time there, I did notice when other customers came in the servers knew them by name which did impress me.
Once I decided on what sushi rolls I was going to order they came out pretty fast … I will say they were so delicious!! These were probably some of the best sushi I have had ever!! Anytime I am in the area. I will definitely be coming back if you have not tried this place out. I suggest giving them a try.

First time dining at this restaurant and was impressed. My brother-in-law recommended this sushi spot near our house. The service was great as we walked in and not too busy. We had a very attentive waitress. We were there in time for happy hour. The rolls were a great price and the beer was cheap. Grabbed some delicious sashimi. That is not on the happy hour btw. Will be coming back again.

Mom & pop’s place. Super delicious food. It’s a destination restaurant. Great happy prices and variety of rolls, sashimi, beer, & saki! If you have a larger party than six, definitely recommend to give them a call in advance.

My family and I love this great little Japanese restaurant in Norco! It’s all already been said in the numerous positive reviews, so I won’t belabor the point… My wife, kids and I have been loving this place since it opened many years ago, when it was called Ono’s. Another hidden gem… the sushi dishes are always fresh and perfectly cut! The sauces are delicious and don’t overpower the fish. I love yellowtail and salmon belly so their Sushi and Toro rolls hit the spot! The Jalapeño appetizer is awesome. IYKYG

First time here after a fun date at Mike Raahauge shooting range and let me just say we were welcomed from the jump by sweet Victoria. We appreciated her smile and service. Thank you for tending to us so pleasantly. With 20 minutes before Happy Hour ended she helped us get our order in and had some great great recommendations thank you again!

First time to try Joni’s Japanese restaurant in Corona and it was superb, we were seated in no time, the place was super busy but the food quality taste and portions are really good, definitely will go there again, our host was super nice
