An Annapolis Valley staple. Their specialty poutines are great – though I haven’t gone there many times since they took my favorite one (Macho Taco Poutine ) off the menu a season or two ago.
Their burgers are quite good as well, but if you’re not a mayo fiend definitely tell them to take it easy on the sauce because they often go a bit overboard with it. I can recommend the Sweet Maria burger, and the Jerry Burger (not sure if this one is still on the menu).
Fries are good but I don’t believe they are house made. They have the same taste, look, and texture of the CISCO fries you’ll find at most pubs in the valley.
Great place to go for an ice cream. Try the peanut butter drumstick and you won’t regret it.
Prices have gone up quite a bit over the last few years, so it’s not the same incredible value that it used to be but don’t let that stop you from giving it a shot at least once. It’s one of those places you’ve got to go if you want to experience the valley in the summer time.

Solid burger joint for a small town. Definitely recommend the hamburgers and ice cream. The beer fries are also really good. Last year I got Jonny’s version of the blizzard and it is the only item I wouldn’t recommend – too much vanilla ice cream and they were stored in the freezer as opposed to made to order. Otherwise this place is dynamite. Line can be quite long but they move pretty quick. Staff is usually friendly, local, and competent.

Johnny‘s has the BEST ice cream I have ever tasted in the valley!! It isn‘t bland and they have a ton of different flavours/types, anyone can find something they enjoy here. They also have super crispy and delicious battered fish. Would recommend.

Super good burger place!! Took our dad there for his birthday supper and we all enjoyed our burgers, poutine, and onion rings! Best onion rings I’ve ever had by far. This was my first time, will definitely be going back on a nice sunny day to eat outside at the picnic tables! Ice-cream was also fabulous!! Huge scoops!!

We went there, on a recommendation, in late October 2022. Friendly helpful staff, good service and great food. We will definitely be going there again next summer.
Update: Went again in July 2024. Another great visit. We had the single patty Bacon Cheese Burger and a one piece Fish and Beer Battered Chips with a Strawberry Milk Shake. Once again the staff were very friendly and super helpful. We ate inside the little dining area

visit at this place two separate occasions was recommended to burgers and try them both a sweet Maria and the garlic finger burger both were excellent, but my favourite was the garlic finger burger with the deep-fried mozzarella. Patty is a great place to get some good old-fashioned comfort food.

We drive 45 minutes just to eat at this place, hands down the best old school dine out food you can treat yourself too!
This milkshakes are the best I’ve ever had, I don’t remember the name of the burger but it has deep fried mozzarella and I think it has some magic in it because the happiness that comes through me when I eat the thing can’t be beat!
I wish their dine in side was open.

3 single patty cheeseburgers, one fry, one onion ring, one coleslaw (yes you pay for it), and one chocolate shake. $66.00.
Eaten outside on a dirty picnic table with loud obnoxious people all around who seemingly don’t realize the people around them.
We will not be returning . For a country takeout, prices are unreasonable for what you get. And it’s funding their winters away every year. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but providing some quality to the food????
Fries were good, the burgers were poor meat quality, pre cooked and whitish. It was very unpleasant.
