We visited on a Monday at noon. There was plenty of space and we were seated and served quickly. The coffee was way better than most cafes, but I had to ask for non-flavored creamers and, by the time I got some, my cup of coffee was cold. My group of 3 ordered a big salad, a breakfast combo, and I ordered a BLT. My BLT was really disappointing. The bacon was extra crispy as requested, which was great, but the tomato was hard and white and dry. It tasted so bad, I had to take it off the sandwich. Anyone who knows anything about BLTs would know not to use a tomato like that. The tomato is kind of important. I thought I was getting fries with my BLT, but they were small potatoes that were pretty soggy. Luckily, my wife ordered something called blueberry bread, which came with frosting and was to-die-for-delicious so I ate that. The rest of the food we ordered was very good and I will give this place another chance 🙂

Awesome food. I get the eggs Benedict with a side of French toast:)

My only complaint is they’re not open Sundays.

I’d like to have breakfast there before or after church.

We stopped in with a car cruise group.
The service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. The highlight was the raspberry toast that was delicious.
Cute decor for our car cruise group.
Would highly recommended for breakfast.

Nice place! Our waitress was attentive and prompt in taking our order. After that, everything came to a halt. Im not sure if it’s a staffing issue in the kitchen or what. It took 45 minutes before we got our meal. If you’re on a time crunch, you might wanna come back when you have more time. The food was terrific, though!!! I would go back for sure, but with more time.

Stay away!

Went here with my family (2 kids), started off well as we were greeted and seated quickly, that was all that went well. I’ll admit we were warned that the kitchen was “a little slow” today.

Server came to take our drink order, I asked for a latte in a mug (they say they are a coffee shop after all). She said they only give lattes in to go cups. We ordered regular coffee instead. Horrible, watered down coffee, but it came in a mug! When the server came to take out food order, I asked why they couldn’t pour a latte into the same mug. Server stated those are for coffee only and not the way they do things. I took that as she was just too lazy to do 10 seconds of extra work to make a customer happy.

After an hour of waiting for food I went over to the kitchen area and asked for an ETA. The whole area was a disheveled, disorganized mess. There was no communication, it’s no wonder they can’t get food out. All of the food seemed to go right from the freezer to the fryer or microwave.

Was given another half hour as a best guess on our food. I said no way and we left. At the very least they didn’t charge us for our watered down coffee and the kids’ juices.

As an out of towner just passing through Jonnie’s was a little hard to find (it’s a mixed use building, head straight to the basement). Also it popped up in my search for coffee shops so was expecting counter service, but turns out it’s a sit down place. Not a problem though, service was fast and they had a cozy little area probably best described as a reading nook where I sat and ate, food was good as was the service. Would recommend

Saturday breakfast service is awful. There was 15 people in the restaurant. 2 servers and 2 cooks 1 bus person. We waited 1.5 hours for our order. We should have left. We will not be back. Not worth the wait for an average omelet , Luke warm soft hasbrowns, and microwaved pancakes. Go to the McDonalds drive thru instead.
