TL;DR: Great food for the price and a great if simple menu.

Stopped by for lunch. It’s an older building with a flashy paint job. The menu is diverse but simple, ranging from wings to burgers and fish.

I had the boneless wings. I expected a small set of chicken bites rolled in sauce and paired with fries. What I got instead was a pile of wings, each of which was big enough to be considered a chicken strip at many places. They were delicious too: hot, fresh, cooked to perfection.

My wife had a Philly Mix recommended to her by the cashier and she was not disappointed. I stole a bit and it was everything a Philly should be.

If we go back I’m going to try the $9.99 12-piece cheese sticks with our order.

First time id every tried a Gyro. I was not disappointed. And they have fried mushrooms! THAT in itself is a reason for me to return. Service was nice. Other than the ceiling leaking (I hope they were able to get that fixed, and it dripping on me while standing in line, I will return.

Finally decided to visit this location after the hype died down. It’s the same ol food that you’ll get at any other Shark’s (mainly Central Arkansas). I do like the “nachos” which were missing all of the add-ons. I had to ask for them to add them. The whole wings are usually my go to and did not disappoint. My husband got the gizzards and stated they were fried a little too hard but seasoned well. The inside was clean. We also purchased slices of cheesecake to go. I’d go back but I’m not in a hurry.

Not sure why this place has the reviews it does and trust when i say I’m BIG on reviews! But my other half is from the south and said I needed to try it anyways and boy I’m glad I did! Fresh made to order perfect And I barely put a dent in my portion!

I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like. The wings here are my favorite that I’ve had in Jonesboro. Everything is cooked fresh so there is usually 10 or more minute wait but for how fresh it is, it’s absolutely worth it.

First of all, there is no shark on the menu! The name of the place is Sharks, Fish and Chicken. That makes it look like they serve sharks, fish and chicken. That is misleading. Add an apostrophe between the letter “k” and the letter “s”. If the name is possessive, as in, this eatery belongs to Shark, then it should be Shark’s and not plural, as in, sharks are served here.

Now that we got the grammar lesson out of the way, here are the facts and my opinion.

This place was busy at 11:50 and I’m not sure why. It’s just a glorified, gas station fried-counter. However, it’s on Caraway, a busy road and there are several businesses nearby. A lot of people seem to like it but it doesn’t suit my taste. The chicken tenders were very dry. I placed an order at 11:53 for chicken tenders and gizzards. I was called over after about 4 minutes to be informed that they were out of gizzards. I then ordered 3 jumbo shrimp. I finally got my number called at 12:20. It took 25 minutes for my order to be ready. Today I didn’t have anywhere I needed to be right away but I wouldn’t exactly call that lunch time friendly, especially if you have to drive away from the Caraway/Highland area to get back to work. I dined in, if you were doing a pickup order, that might be more time efficient for you.

I wouldn’t consider the shrimp to be jumbo, see picture. They fit into the cocktail sauce container, so that’s kinda small. The fries have a nice seasoning on them and the coleslaw is average. There were several dirty tables when I went to sit down. Granted they were busy but somebody could’ve wiped down the tables. Mostly everything here is going to be fried, so if you are watching your cholesterol, BP, etc., this is not the place for you. Next time, IF I go back, I’ll just order the cheeseburger. Also, there are several misspellings on the digital menu and some on the paper menu, it’s not a big deal but, in general, it’s just not a good look. What with, Google, Grammarly, dictionaries, and spell check in the palms of everybody’s hands all it takes is a quick second to check before mass printing menus.

Lastly, they don’t serve sharks here, either on the menu or if they swim in and want to order something. I just like teasing about how they chose to name the location. So, don’t come here expecting to be served sharks or expecting to be served if you are a shark.

You get a bunch of food for the price and good variety too but I feel like there’s way too much salt on the fried stuff. The food is good, just really salty and makes you feel bad for eating it so definitely not something I’m gonna get often but I’ll for sure be back

I visited this new chicken and fish restaurant in Jonesboro and it was just ok. I got the chicken wing meal and the wings were rather small and seemed overcooked. The sides that came with the meal were the best part. My son got the fish and it seems like they use swai and not U.S. catfish but he did enjoy it. I would eat here again but it would not be my first choice when choosing an eatery.

I visited for lunch this week. The fish and the hush puppies were great. The portion sizes are a bit small for the price point, however.

I ordered the 2pc fried catfish combo which doesn’t come with a drink. That seems a bit odd at the $14 price point. After taxes and adding a drink, it was $19 and some change for lunch.

I’ll go back to try the wings, but it’s too pricy to go very often at lunch.
