Great lobster rolls. This was my 1st time here, while in the area I stopped at 2 other places for lobster rolls, this was my favorite. Will definitely stop in again next time I’m in town

What a cool little place! It’s a surprise, not a big restaurant area but you see it at the side of the road and you can’t help but stop. They have some great options where you can wait outside at the window and get it to go. There is usually a line every time we pass by. You can also go in to the little tavern area and sit down or sit down at the little restaurant area. There is a cold Sam Adams Summer Brew ready for you if you need something refreshing to go with a fresh lobster roll or a hot buttered lobster roll which is what our choice was. It was absolutely fabulous and the ladies that were there serving us were amazing. The bartender was happy to help us get set up and we enjoyed a long leisurely lunch. The tables also had maps of Maine which was really cool because we were able to look at the maps and find out where different family members lived or grew up. The service was great and even though they were shorthanded, we waited a little longer but it was worth it. They were super friendly and apologized profusely for making anyone wait. They are very proud of their restaurant and take great pride in trying to make people feel happy and get what you need. Definitely take the time to stop at this cool place!

We stopped in on the way to Acadia. It was really flavorful and inexpensive. Im not sure if I liked the scallops more than the lobster or the haddock more than the scallops. I’m not sure what the cook is using for seasoning, but it was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I knew we needed to return before the long ride home. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as flavorful on the way home. It could’ve been a different cook or because they were busy. I would give it one more shot when I visit before completely checking it off the list.

As advertised, this is THE BEST lobster roll! We went to multiple restaurants while we were in Maine. We drove two hours just to go back and have lunch here one more time. It was the first lobster roll we had while in Maine and the last! My daughter had the cold lobster roll, and I had the hot. When we went back the last time, we also had the halibut nuggets. Everything was freshly made, hot and outstanding! It was also the most generous portions we found anywhere. It will definitely be our first stop when we go back!

Lobster bisque was amazing, best we ever had! Hot Honey Lobster Roll was okay, not very hot. And the lobster was just a little overcooked and didn’t feel like a full roll’s worth of meat.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Stopped on a Saturday and got in early enough to miss the crowds. Counter help was friendly and helpful . Haddock was so crispy and flavorful. Please stop here if you get the chance!

Billed as the best lobster roll in town. For all I know, they’re the only lobster roll in town, but regardless, Jones Lobster Company didn’t disappoint. As for appearance, the exterior is really cute, the inside pretty utilitarian. But we’re here for the food, right?The lobster roll was served in a red plastic basket with sea salt fries. The roll itself was a regular top-split hot dog bun buttered and toasted to perfection. It contained large chucks of lobster meat, and lots of it, held together with just a touch of mayo. Although there’s not much ambience inside – you eat at plastic picnic tables, the food was excellent. The fries were piping hot and crispy and the cracked pepper and sea salt a nice touch. There’s also local ice cream, a wide variety of other seafood choices on the menu, and a whole section for take out of lobster and local fish. Counter service was fast and friendly. I would go back. Last week of August, the lobster roll plate was $19.95.

Please don’t miss eating at this gem of a place. We had haddock and shrimp basket and it was more than the 2 of us could eat. The fish was deliciously fried and tender. The homemade tartar sauce is the best I have ever had. It’s clean and a quiet and easy atmosphere.

We love coming here for lunch! The fries are so delicious and we have recently discovered the chicken bomb and the steak bomb sandwiches. Everything we have tried has been delicious and an easy place to pull off of the 1A for a relaxing outdoor lunch.
