An excellent place to celebrate an anniversary. Wife and I had filet steak with lobster stuffed ravioli. The food was very tasty and steaks where cooked as requested. Top marks for providing au jus. Salad bar was well stocked with many choices. Especially liked the creamy mushroom wild rice soup. Prices reflect the food quality and wine selection.

Hand cut beef salad bar homemade salad dressing definitely professional Chef.lobster, lobster ravioli and beef offered as combination dinner. So many fresh appetizers. Everything was Market Price. 8 oz.filet $48 and Jumbo Shrimp fried $33,desserts strawberry creme cake and 3 cheese cake varieties but I choose chocolate with peanut butter creme cake. Service was phenomenal and quick. The atmosphere was vintage and quiet a beautiful family with 3 wonderfully behaved children were having dinner together.l have not been out for over a year to a supper club and l really enjoyed myself and those around me.

A good old-fashioned supper club! They had a great salad bar, hunk of cheese, and soup. We had steaks which were great, but they also had an all you can eat shrimp special that night. Also a rib special. Highly recommend.

Awesome, just walking in the door we knew this was the right place to go for a nice dinner! The nice grilled beef smell slightly in the air, heavenly. Great salad bar too start the meal with, 2 different soups! also fresh loaf of bread for the table, drinks were on hand and well made. Main courses King crab And a special that was a smaller filet and lobster Ravioli, were both excellent!

Not particularly cheap, but you can’t really complain when everything was excellent!

Online: The full menu was shown with a WIDE variety. The low-light themed dining was expressed.

In Reality: Menu was on a sheet of paper, where even the beef cuts were labeled “Market Price” (MP).

Jones Black Angus (JBA) Restaurant:
Parking was adequate, & the bar opens early to accommodate cocktails before dinner.

First impression: It was a bit too dark inside, especially for anyone with any mobility concerns.
A couple of tap beers were on offer, as well as several bottled.
The cheese curds were fine & the beer was cold.
The bartender was friendly enough, although a bit loud.
Someone called complaining about the cost of a recent seafood bill. (So patrons HAD to essentially listen to the whole business end of things right at the bar.)
I found that tacky, especially since one by one he “spoke” out to the servers that they should remind the MP aspect to diners.

I got to sit where I chose, but the booth was so tight.

Now reality set in; My original few choices were shot when the sheet menu came.

I ordered one of the three daily specials: Seafood Pasta with Alfredo.
The salad bar was good; I heard people agree they had expected 1000 dressing.
Soup was plentiful and hot. I thought the fresh cheese block was a nice touch. A loaf of bread was at the table.

The MEAL:
Snapped a photo, but I hadn’t noticed the thin pasta sauce yet. (The lighting makes it look creamier.)
There was enough seafood in the dish but that couldn’t carry the meal because there was VERY LITTLE taste overall.

I told my waitress: “Alfredo sauce is supposed to be thick & creamy” and certainly on the rich side. She replied: “Really?”

Cream was almost non-existent, no garlic or Parmesan flavor I could detect.

It truly tasted like a few tablespoons of olive oil, a dab of butter, and minimal cream made up the sauce.

You can find a 10x better Alfredo sauce at any grocer.

Waitress asked if I wanted to “try something else”. I told her I was going to cut my losses. I waited though to clarify. Since she never stopped back, it was certainly not clear if I would have pay even more $.

Conclusion:
Supper Clubs are few, and I gave this one a shot.
Yes, it’s a Steak place… but when I spend $42 (meal alone), I want a decent meal.Having had no clear recourse, I left my meal and I also left hungry.

After my experience, (and what another patron phoned about) I don’t like the idea of being deceived through a lack of ‘mostly straightforward’ pricing.

This was the best place I’ve been to in awhile. We went Valentine’s day it was busy but still quite, wonderful experience food was off the chain lobster big as your arm (sweet not fishy) steak was tender even for well done. Staff friendly, sweet very nice.

Amazing dining experience! Our waitress Carlee was extremely polite and prompt with service., and had answers for every question we had. We started with drinks, I ordered a Dirty Shirley and my date ordered the Spotted Cow on tap. Dirty Shirley was very stiff but good, draft Spotted Cow was very good – I liked it and I don’t even like beer.
We ordered appetizers first and got the cheese curds and oysters. Oysters were very fresh and came with lemon and cocktail sauce. Cheese curds were delicious, warm and super creamy with the best breading I’ve ever had.
The salad bar was outstanding, and included tons of toppings, three different kinds of greens, deli salads, two different soups, and a gorgeous cheese and crackers board at the end. Plates are kept chilled which was a wonderful detail!
I ordered the angus black ribeye with Parmesan garlic butter and a loaded baked potato, and my date ordered the New York strip with sautéed mushrooms and a loaded baked potato. The food was all incredible. The steaks were cooked perfectly to temperature and came with a delicious au jus for dipping. Baked potatoes were cooked very well and came with all the best toppings, but a bit too filling after the salad bar and appetizers. We definitely had leftovers!
Final bill came to about $160 including tip. A bit expensive, but reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food we got. The atmosphere was wonderful, classy and romantic but not stuffy. Bar had hundreds of options for liquor, especially scotch, whiskey, and bourbon. Overall incredible experience and will definitely be back. Carlee was great and we would love to have her as a server again!

Best supper club in the tri State area. And we have tried many. Their salad bar, soups, entries and desserts are all tip shelf!! We head down 260 miles every year, just to go and see Ashley and or Ariel there. Wait staff are just awesome.

The salad bar is delightful. Cheese curds crunch on the outside and melty cheese on the inside. Filet mignon was buttery with every bite. The Alaskan king crab was so good and filling.

Went here on Valentine’s Day with my partner, waited about 2 hours for a table as they were taking walk ins. Once we got to our table we were basically on top of 2 other tables and it was very congested. Having any kind of meaningful conversation didn’t happen and the whole experience felt kinda rushed. The food wasn’t spectacular ether for 50+ $ a person. Good thing this is a once and blue moon type restaurant / dining experience for most people
