Overall: An excellent spot for authentic Korean comfort food with warm service and a cozy, well-lit atmosphere. The food is flavorful and hearty, the staff is attentive, and the dining experience feels thoughtful from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re craving something rich, spicy, and satisfying.

We ordered the small bossam and the Hae Jang Guk, a flavorful and spicy pork bone soup. It arrived steaming hot with large bones still packed with tender meat. The broth was rich, full-bodied, and perfectly seasoned. Our server even suggested we pull the bones apart to find the hidden meat pockets and bits of cartilage — and she was absolutely right. She also brought gloves so we could do it comfortably, which was a great touch.

There were about eight side dishes, and while not all of them were my favorite, the potatoes and radishes really stood out — the potatoes were tender and perfectly textured, and the radishes were crisp and refreshing.

The bossam was also excellent. The seasoning was balanced — just enough cinnamon to complement the pork without overpowering it. Paired with ssamjang, perilla leaves, and lettuce wraps, it made for a perfect bite every time.

The ambiance was warm and inviting with comfortable lighting — bright enough to see clearly but never harsh. The temperature inside was perfect, and the call buttons at each table made it easy to get refills or the staff’s attention without interrupting conversation.

Food: 4.5/5 – Flavorful, hearty, and authentic
Service: 4.5/5 – Friendly, attentive, and thoughtful
Ambiance: 4.5/5 – Cozy, well-lit, and comfortable

Excellent contemporary Korean restaurant with authentic and variety of food for everyone.

For the 3 of us, we tried Ox bone soup, Galbi, seafood pancake (pajun), hot stone bi bim bap. Everything was excellent. We will definitely come back, and we have to try their specialties hot pot.

The service was friendly and caring which many excellent Korean restaurants lacks. The lady took time to introduce the appetizer dishes which was helpful and almost nobody else do.

Initially we ordered this spot randomly off Ubereats for takeout, blown away with how good the takeout food was. The seafood Pajeon was STILL crispy after a 15 minute drive in the takeout box. I knew I needed to dine-in before I gave a proper review. Going in on a Sunday night with a “not that hungry” kind of attitude but walking out with a proper food baby gives you a good idea of how the dinner went. Expectations were already high, but I think I just found my go-to soup spot?! Seafood Pajeon – ($25) – Great amount of seafood, sauce was just the perfect amount of tang. Crispy and satisfying! French Fries – ($5) an automatic order right now for our baby. Fresh fried fries with a garnish of parsley and a side of ketchup is addictive on its own. Bo Ssam ($30) – We got the smaller size, which was a good size for the 3 of us sharing 2 entrees. As much as I like Bo Ssam, the pork belly was kind of mid here. The flavor wasn’t as strong as I’m use to with other spots. GamJaTang M ($45) – THIS! Our server came out with a burner and this giant pot came to our table. She came around to mix it for us, serve us and came back to top us off with extra broth! Service was commendable, we were not anticipating table service, but welcomed in completely! The soup is heavenly, meat is tender, rice cakes and green onions all mixed in with a spoon full of rice is a flavor bomb bite. Must try! We will definitely be back!

Recently opened Korean hotpot restaurant in the same plaza as Sprouts.
Used the Yelp app to make reservations but the place was not packed at all and we were seated within a few minutes.
We got two hot pots :
Gamjatang has a rich pork bone broth with pork neck bones, enoki mushrooms and sliced potatoes, perilla leaf with mild chili spice. Meat is very tender, enough to separate the neck bones and pick out the meat.
Seolleongtang is ox knee bone broth with sliced tendons, beef tongue and sliced beef. The broth is milky from the bone and cartilage but has no dairy in it.
Tables are provided with a special sauce for the beef broth:it tastes of garlic, vinegar and soy sauce.
Quiet and clean space. I think there used to be a Thai restaurant in this same spot.
This is a franchise restaurant but the quality of the food was better than expected.
We got the chive pancake which was okay on it own , even better with the dipping sauce.
Assortment of banchan or side dishes: kimchi, chili covered potato wedges, radish and fish cakes. All with refills.
White rice served individually in bowls.
You can request extra broth for either hot pot. And fried rice at the end if you let them know.
We were so full from these already and did not need the fried rice.
There were at least five other tables almost all families and service was attentive to us all.
Requested both hot barley tea (in metal teapots) and ice water (in pitchers).
The servers carry pretty large pots of hot food so watch yourself and your little ones.

Went to this restaurant for the first time with my fiancé and we were pleasantly surprised as to how affordable it was. The food and service were really good too – I ordered ramen, and kimbap and it was delicious. met my standards (noodles were al-dente and broth was yummy). This is definitely a restaurant I would go back to!!

Had a wonderful experience! It was our first time trying gamjatang, and our server was incredibly helpful. She showed us how to enjoy the dish properly and which sauce to pair with the meat. Everything was delicious, and we can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu.

Jomaru Gamjatang is a famous Korean chain, and it didn’t disappoint! We had Bossam (steamed pork belly with kimchi) and Gamjatang (pork bone soup with potatoes and veggies), and both were amazing ❤️

The side dishes were incredible, especially the braised potatoes, stir-fried fish cake, and kkakdugi. The Gamjatang was hearty and packed with tender meat, while the Bossam was soft, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the kimchi.

The restaurant was spotless, and the staff were super friendly. As a Korean, I loved every bite and highly recommend it for authentic flavors!

Saw high rating on this so we thought of giving this a try. Was intrigued with the “korean hot pot” part. It did not disappoint! We had Hae Jang Guk and combo Bulgogi and SoonDuBu Hae Jang Guk. The broth from Hae Jang Guk was deep and rich as soon as you slurp it. The pork was tender. Everything was well seasoned! Wasn’t sure if the banchan was free refill so we didn’t want to ask (didn’t want to get charge for refills of banchan (some places would be sneaky in adding this to the bill)). The waitress at one point did offer to refill the fish cake banchan, and that was it though she didn’t offer to refill other ones. Anyway, everything was amazingly delicious! Came for an early dinner on a regular weekday so we got sat down immediately. Definitely recommend those who wants some korean hot soup/korean dishes. We would come back next time to try their other menu. Love the decor and openness of the space too, made it feel very welcoming! Parking was easy. It’s located next to other businesses so it was convenient to walk around and digest the good food after eating there. Gamsahamnida!
