I loved everything about this restaurant except the price. That being said, you get what you pay for. 2 very tasty beers, and 2 huge plates of crispy fish & chips for my girlfriend and I with some whitefish dip as a starter set us back about $100. The drive there is part of the experience so dont forget to look around and imagine the life you’ll never have owning or working at any of the hundred vinyards. The service was stellar, for our large group + 1 baby we felt well looked after. The beer was delicious, but if I knew it was $10 for 1 glass and roughly $25 for a growler, id have brought my own cup. If I’m back in Traverse City, Ill definitely go back for the fish and chips and a growler of beer.

We had a group of 8. Sampled the pizza , salads, sandwiches and some beers. The pumpkin sour was too sour. Not a fan. Everything else we had was right on the beer side. Pulled pork was good, pizza was good, salads were really good, bison sloppy joe is a hard pass as is the Cole slaw. Ingredients seemed fresh, service was brilliant. Really nice guy served us and offered input on dishes. Great rustic feel. Will def be back!

My hubby and I are on vacation for our anniversary. Our VRBO host recommended this great local spot.

We both agreed this is the best and I mean best pizza we have ever had. We travel from our home in Racine Wisconsin to Il Ritrovo In Sheboygan for their real Neapolitan pizza. This Is better!

We tried four types, themushroom, the white pizza, the sausage and peppers and the pepperoni we added onions.

The dough is delicious, freshly made had great flavor and a great chew. Loved the charred air bubbles!

I am the mushroom queen this blend on top of béchamel Is flavor packed! Like all the wonderful fall inspired deep flavors of mushrooms you could want.

The white pizza with spinach, red onion, bacon and feta on bechamel the salty and earthy balance with the heat of the red onions, belissimo!

Hands down the best pepperoni I have ever eaten. There really was a black pepper finish.

The sausage was fragrant with fennel! Outstanding!

The service was great for take out. Friendly and kind staff. Give this local spot a try!

The Jolly Pumpkin was out of pumpkin beer so a but less jolly than we thought. Had the cinnamon girl cider- which has the lightest hint of cinnamon- it was really good. No explantation of the beers or options from the bartender- so good thing we are
Super well versed in our drinking establishments. Nice little cozy stop for a pint and perhaps a snack. We weren’t hungry so we didn’t peruse the menu.

Worth the drive up the peninsula.

Stopped in for dinner on a Monday night. Usually our rules for eating is empty parking lot, not worth it. We are so glad we ended up eating here.

The atmosphere and history is awesome. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the property and it’s history.

We wanted to sit outside and check out the sunset so we ordered drinks at the bar and a pizza and went outside. Being from Chicago it’s hard to find pizza we like up this way and the pizza here knocked it out of the park. Be sure to check out the specials, grab a cold beer or four and watch the sunset.

There’s a path down to the lake and the views are amazing.

While you’re here walk around upstairs and check out the old house, I’m sure these walls have some stories to tell.

This place is worth it for the views alone. The sound of the gentle lapse on the beach below is pure bliss.
But the drinks and food here are also wonderful and make the atmosphere perfect. We sat outside, so I couldn’t speak for the inside except when I used the washroom. It was also being set up for a wedding on the inside but looked large and spacious.
We got the pepperoni pizza, truffle fries, and the grain bowl all were exceptional.
The wait staff was attentive and kind.

Interesting spot down a dirt driveway. Thought we were in the wrong place! Had a great crispy chicken sandwich, tender with a crispy crust- great texture combo! Good beer. A really sour option I can’t find on the menu and a mildly sour blanca. Very relaxed on a Sunday afternoon with football in the background. Had good service, wasn’t exceptional, but definitely helpful and polite. Have been to a few Jolly Pumpkin oications…this one is maybe the most chill!

WOW! What a hidden gem we found here! Being newbies to the peninsula, we were uncertain where to eat.. stopped here last minute and were so glad we did! The seating outdoors was very pleasant. The food was so delicious! And the service was some of the best! Definitely going to return next time we are in the area.
