We popped in to get donuts for my boys birthdays. It’s a good old fashioned style jolly pirate… seats around the counter and all… and these were the FRESHEST DONUTS IVE EVER HAD.

I just want to take a moment to say that, although I have had consistently delicious donuts from Jolly Pirate for years and expect a fritter that is spread out and crispy on the outside and gooey and chewy on the inside, I picked one of these up that looks like it’s stacked with crunchy bits one on top of the other and was a bit skeptical. As it turns out, whoever started making them like these is owed my gratitude. I love the way it pulls apart and is nice and crunchy and crispy on the outside and still nice and gooey and chewy in the middle. I love these!
I have to add that the reason why I only gave four stars overall is because I’m just so fed up with how expensive everything is. But I did consider giving five stars because the price is what keeps me from buying them more often and getting great big and fat. So whoever has a cheat day or doesn’t care about their health, you should get over here very often and devour these delicious delicacies.

Wish they had more places to sit, they only have counter seating, and no room for me, so I went and sat in my vehicle.
The young man who helped me was extremely polite and told me about how they make the donuts fresh daily and he seemed very excited about working there and he was very proud by it, you don’t find those kinda kids everyday, KEEP HIM around!! The donuts were indeed delicious and tasted FRESH! Prices were very affordable, brought back some great memories from my high school years, I went in about 2:30- 3:00p coffee was DEFINITELY fresh and delicious (main reason I went in) I’m not from that area, had a Dr appointment out that way, so I took my 6 donuts and my coffee and enjoyed some quiet time watching the snow fall, Thank you Jolly employees for a wonderful afternoon! I WILL BE BACK!! (MANAGER) Get some tables & chairs in there!!! 🙂

Take adrive down 30th street from main or up from 79 and try to resist pulling in as the smell of freshly baked delights entices your to indulge in the variety of delicious, mouthwatering, made fresh daily, Jolly Pirate donuts. Employees are always kinda rude. Every time I go. And who puts a dozen donuts in a small box? This is what my donuts looked like when I got home. Smh, just kinda gross. And sure maybe they’re okay to eat, but they don’t look appealing at all.
