Highly recommend! Had the Theibou yapp, jerk chicken, ginger tea and meat pies. Everything was delicious and will be coming back. Special shout out to one of the spiciest side sauces I’ve ever had.

Went here with my wife and we were both blown away by how good the food was and how warm and welcoming the owners were. The jerk chicken here is really unique, and the jollof rice is one of my favorite rice dishes. They also have a face melting, but delicious habanero sauce that you have to try if you’re into spicy food. Can’t wait to came back here!

My friends and I came here on Valentine’s Day eve. This is not a romantic spot, nor does it try to be.
However, upon entering, it was obvious that this is a spot frequented by the local African population and the food really delivered. We went with the jollof rice with jerk chicken, the Thiebou Djeun, and the Thiebou Guinar. All three were great, with my favorite being the jollof rice + jerk chicken combo being my favorite (although the guinar was a close second). The food was packed with so much flavor and just delicious!

No sign outside but it inside the African Food store. Had the red snapper fried fish ($20) with jollof rice, plantains and onion slaw? With a $4 baobab drink (it’s a superfood step aside Kale/ Açaí)
My entree was huuuuuge and I wish I had another stomach to finish it. This kind of food hits you like you’re home and it doesn’t matter which continent you call home.
Their ginger juice was so good – exactly what you’d want in this cold flu season. $4 for fresh juice
It’s a lil tiring to ask the wait staff what each item is on the wall menu. If they had a short description it’d save everyone a ton of time.
Also when I got rung up there was no line to leave a tip but luckily I had some cash on me. I like to show my appreciation for great service.

She was patient while I asked questions about different dishes and answered all of my questions. I appreciate the amazing customer service and the food was amazing! Very flavorful, just the right amount of spicy, and each platter was nice and filling.

Ordered online. Food was reasonably priced and ready when expected. Once I got there, the gentleman at the front register was really friendly and made sure I was taken care of quickly, even with grocery customers to take care of. The thiebou guinar was excellent. Lots of flavor, with a big portion of delicious rice that could probably feed 2. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Good food. Not sure what country in Africa this restaurant represents but its good. Very filling. Takes a few extra minutes to get your food. 10 to 15 minutes on average, but well worth the wait. Had the jollof rice with lamb and my wife had her rice with shrimp. Had some of hers too. Really nice lady at the counter. Talked me into some hot sauce. I was hesitant to try but did. I survived . Try them out. I will again. Small place. Couple of tables. More for carry out. Small place but big flavor.

Great experience! Owners were extremely nice and welcoming. They were open to explaining dishes and showing us pictures! They even gave us samples! Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. A definite must try! It was absolutely delicious! We got a whole grilled chicken with jollof, plantains and salad and jollof rice with chicken.
