After many years we finally got around to our first visit. I believe they opened with the virus crisis first started so good for them to last this long. Big surprise when we entered with so many people there. The place was very crowded inside/take out and drive-thru during our lunch. See photos. We got two different meals to try which were OK just not a WOW! The staff was working very hard to get the meals out. If we came again I would try later in weekday afternoon. BTW: we found a shaded parking spot just a bit east of store.

Great service! The staff are super friendly and warm which is exactly what I was expecting because I came here for the experience and to feel like a kid again giddy and excited for her chicken joy! The supervisor, Ronnie was excellent and very helpful, my order took less than 10 minutes to fulfill. Fast and complete! The place is spotless clean and organized so you can tell that this branch is managed well.

Found this place on Google and wanted to try something different and was worth it. The food was good, and mash potatoes with gravy had good flavor, and the fried pie was really good also. I think I got in right in rush hour and had little wait to order, but it still wasn’t bad.

I’ve passed by this place on multiple occasions always wanting to see what it’s about. I finally made a stop in. If you can wait for the chicken to be fresh do it it makes it so much more worth it and you can judge the restaurant accurately on what they offer. I got a three piece chicken joy with the mashed potato side. two piece, original one piece spicy. The crunch on the chicken was immaculate. The flavor was normal just like any other fast food chicken restaurant but I had a good time because it was made fresh and the mashed potatoes weren’t bad. The only negative I have is that they didn’t have regular black tea I prefer a 1/2 sweet tea 1/2 unsweet tea mix and not flavored tea. Their specialty is raspberry tea, pineapple juice but I didn’t get it.

Great food! The potatoes and gravy not so much. The first time I had their chicken was in Seattle a few weeks ago. I just had to see if we lived nearby one in the dfw area…lucky taste bud cravings….we do. Well, it’s not truly close to me. It’s so good I drove to the far northern end of Plano…30mins. away on a light traffic day to get it! Enough said, right!

Stopped in for lunch now that I see there are no longer car lines wrapped around the building. The menu looks delicious. However, my food experience was something different. I wanted to order a wing and peach/mango pie. They only offer leg or thighs for fried chicken. I’m not a fan of dark meat chicken because I don’t like the texture. If you love dark meat, then this place is for you. They do have tenders or a chicken sandwich. I wanted small portions to taste. I ordered 1 chicken leg and 1 peach/mango fried pie.

The chicken was fresh and crunchy. Definitely way better than KFC or Churches chicken. The spaghetti was pretty good as well. The spaghetti sauce was on the sweeter side. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Different then your KFC!! Spicy chicken is the way to go!! I had the palabok. It’s really good. Does have a bit of a crunch. The mashed potatoes were good! Fries were good and comes with brown gravy for dipping!!

I’ve been here several times and I highly recommend the peach mango pie, it’s my favorite menu item. I also like the spaghetti and the chicken is pretty good, but I wish the original fried chicken had more seasoning and flavor. It tastes plain. The spicy chicken is okay, but it’s seasoned with pure spicy seasoning and I think it needs other seasoning and flavors to make it great. I can also recommend the pineapple drink, it’s delicious and refreshing.
