I wanted to see what the hype was about but boy did it disappoint. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the tenders. Both were over cooked and lack the juiciness I was looking for. I only ate 1 tender as I couldn’t get passed the dryness and flavor. Maybe I caught them on an off day but I won’t be back anytime soon.

I came with my wife after finishing delivery the last order for Grubhub around the area, and my experience was amazing. We ordered the “Perfect Pair Special” for 25 dollars, and the food did not disappoint one bit. Too bad we got full pretty nicely with the chicken and the spaghetti with wieners we got, so we had to take the pies home to eat them with some cafecito. Overall, I will be coming to this place again if we ever get the chance to come to the Evanston area.

I almost gave this a 4 star because the service was slower (they have a sign that their understaffed at the front desk), but then I tasted the spicy chicken with gravy again, and it shot back up to 5 stars. The chicken is large, crispy, tender, actually spicy (they inject spices into the actual meat not just the breading), and the gravy is thick with msg or some mystery addictive ingredient. You literally cannot go wrong with their chicken. I don’t care what else you order as long you got some chicken. The value on anything other than chicken is suspect because I wouldn’t pay 8 dollars for their spaghetti or 5 bucks for their yum burger, but again …. their freaking chicken. I’ll come back forever for their spicy fried chicken in gravy. Other things I like include their meat patties in gravy, sandwiches of any kind, peach desert, and especially the pallabok noodles.

First time trying Jolibee in US. The last time I tried was in PH, but it wasnt great. Here in US, the fried chicken is accompanied by mushroom gravy, which the kids love. Adobo Rice is great too, kinda like Chicken Steam Hainam Rice. And they serve white rice, which is rare in US Fried Chicken chain restaurant. This store is a stand alone store. Plenty of free parking.

Yup feels like home! Tastes like home! We ordered a lot! Palabok Yummy! spaghetti Filipino Style!! Love the sweetness ( i usually count the hotdogs I got 3 hahaha ) no chicken meat leftovers ♥️ enjoyed it with the best gravy. Had to take home the burger steaks coz were full! ♥️ the new coconut pie , its delish, i just hope they add more fillings though. Clean washroom ✅ clean place ✅ friendly service ✅✅✅ Thanks Jollibee! Kyla and Zee are amazing they have excellent customer service and Jolieebee is the best fried chicken spot period better than Popeyes and KFC. I wish there were more locations and they paid the employees more. They do a good job I’m always satisfied.

I ordered 6 pcs chicken half spicy half classic flavor and a family pack palabok last night 6/22/23 at 8:20 pm. Waited more than 45 mins for my order, went back several times just to check if order is ready and crew said they are still preparing it. Went back couple of times again and said that they just waiting for the mango pie. So finally I went back again and it was all packed and went home just to find out that I am missing the mango pies and all the chicken was only classic flavor. I am so disappointed that I waited like 20 mins for the mango pie just to find out it was not in the bag. It was already 10pm by the time I got home and store is already closed. Order number is 255.
