This place seems like a hidden gem. It’s one of my favorite raw bars in the area. Most people go around this area to check out the lobster rolls, but this place is a great stop. Oysters during happy hour are such a great deal. We ordered a dozen and a half! The Crab Roll and Hummus toast were some of our favorites. This place is definitely worth checking out if you like raw bars!

Wonderful little spot right by the water. We really enjoyed the menu. A unique offering of oysters, perfectly shucked! Very creative presentation. It’s clear that these folks make a lot of their ingredients from scratch. Including mixers for their cocktails. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Wiscasset needs more places like this!

Oystahs: amazing. Staff: wonderful. Pours: generous. Space: delightful. This is a great little find in Wiscassett, right on the water. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, with great recommendations for other places in the area. Ask him where to get the best lobster roll.

An oyster lover’s dream. Fresh oysters from a wide variety of Maine oyster farms. And amazing other small plates – enough to make a full dinner if you want.

There is something for everyone. Clam chowder for cloudy days, ice cream sandwiches for kiddos, a full bar, and an impressive selection of locally sourced seafood items. The restaurant showcased three very distinct oyster varieties and the option to try each one for comparrison. An information guide is available for reading during the meal, however, the owner took the time to discuss the flavor profile of each oyster with me. I came for the oysters but was impressed by the creative menu descriptions of all other dishes available and will surely be back to try all of them as well as delight in sampling their featured beer offerrings along the way.

The best oysters of all time- just perfect- buttery, super plump, sweet, and delicious. On top of that, the place had great ambiance and was very clean with a little patio overlooking the water and train tracks. Relaxed and chilled out vibes. Our server only added to our enjoyment. Can’t wait to go back!

The service, decor (inside and out) and ambience were all wonderful, but most importantly is the food: outstanding! Come for the incredible selection of Maine oysters, and stay for the scallops in citrus on the half shell (divine) and the clam chowder (perhaps the best I’ve tasted). Servers are deeply knowledgeable about the oysters you are eating, ranging from where and how they are farmed/harvested through to flavor profile. I plan to come back here many times. Good stop if heading Downeast, or on the way home. A welcome respite. Great wine and cocktails, too. We sat on the outdoor patio for lunch, which was shady on a hot day, and also dog-friendly. Server brought some ice water for our dog. One of the owners came to check on us and answer any question–a nice touch. Their long-term connection with regional oyster farmers runs deep and that shows in the excellence of the oysters available.

We stopped in at Jolie Rogers on our way back from Bar Harbor, ME. It was conveniently located right off route 1 , which was a bonus! We had some of the freshest oysters we’ve ever tasted. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
