Really enjoyed dinner here. Beautiful historic building, with open space, high ceilings, chandeliers, rustic brick, and impressive original arches. Comfortably elegant tables and place settings. There’s an airy outdoor patio in back with additional seating, and a sleek wash room/ restroom area off the one side. A very slick, cool bar. Dinner was expensive with somewhat mixed reviews: The complimentary boulle bread with butter was out of this world and delicious! The Halibut fish with bok choi was also definitely five stars. The duck on the other hand was tough and overcooked; and since that was what we came for, quite disappointing. The drinks (Le Jardín and French Manhattan were just fine; and the mocktail (Rose de Paris) a little too sweet.
We did not try the pastries which seemed like they might be well worth the trip in and of themselves.
All in all a special night; impressive in some respects and lacking in others.

worth every penny!! I took my son here for brunch & I am so glad we stopped in. The restaurant is elegant & clean. The bathrooms are impeccable. Lots of “IG” opps.

The food was amazing. Our meals, the drinks, dessert —everything was The service was excellent and attentive. The ambiance was relaxing and upbeat. We loved everything about this restaurant.

This is a MUST SEE if you’re in the area. Close to the zoo & children’s museum. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth the money when the food is this good & you can’t beat the service for RGV!! We will be making this a regular stop!

This was our first time at Jolie, and we came in with very high hopes. We were there to celebrate my mother’s birthday and they sadly fell short. The place itself is very cute and posh. Perhaps more of a brunch spot….they really need to work on their dinner service. I think that if your plates are in the 35+ range, the service should match the price. Appetizer was brought out. Silverware and plates didn’t come till later. I ordered a soup, asked for a spoon several times. Wanted to take pictures of my mom…..our table hadn’t been prebussed so I had to push plates aside. The cherry on top was the tea they served my son. It wasn’t even brewed, they used the powder mix and didn’t even mix it. I will say that the chicken fricassee and beef wellington were seasoned and cooked perfectly.

This is not just a meal but a culinary experience right in the center of Brownsville historical district! We had a very big group of about 25, parents and kids in town for a soccer tournament. To the person everyone agreed the food, service and atmosphere was 10 star!!! They were so gracious in organizing the tables and seating to accommodate such a Big group! We all had such a variety of plates and drinks. The pomegranate mimosas were very popular. My quiche was so light and fluffy. When we return to Brownsville I will go out of my way to visit Jolie Petite!!

Let me tell you all the reasons why I love this place. The food is absolutely delicious. Everything I ate was top notch and tasty. The chicken sandwich, the fries, the pastries, the London fog, the chai lattes, and more more more. Definitely the best place to eat in Brownsville and the RGV. Highly recommend and I will be visiting again.

The French omelette I ordered was light and cheesy, great breakfast to start the day, the truffle fries were genuinely good, and the eggs Benedict were great as well! The mixed drinks on the other hand were pleasant to look at but that’s all they offered, the taste was ok and unimpressive. When it came to the desert the pastry was over cooked and burnt! Ruined the meal for me. It was hard to even cut through the croissant inedible, I tried explaining the concern to the waitress but since I had already paid she didn’t care. The price overall for the meal I spend about $90+ tip. Your definitely paying for the ambiance not the deserts. I’d be more selective in my meal next time I try this. place.

What a fantastic experience for breakfast, brunch or lunch. They have a beautiful space with a Parisian theme, fun music playing and great food and beverages. They do offer a seasonal menu with special items as well as a large menu with delicious little works of art. Specialty cocktails and cafes, pastries, delectable breakfast and hearty lunch items await. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and will accommodate requests. There is even a window to their kitchen to watch them create all the things! 11/10, definitely worth a visit!
