The food was great and the service was good. The waitress was having to run herself to death to keep up though. With food this good they either need to expand or find a larger location. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I had the Cajun Sampler with gator, shrimp, and catfish. It was a LOT of food, could’ve easily split the plate with someone. The butterfly shrimp was the best thing on my plate. The gator was a little chewy, but it’s like that sometimes. I would say JoJo’s is a must try in the area.

Dropped by the other day for dinner and had a great experience! Love the atmosphere and the friendly staff, the cajun ambiance and flavors reflect in the menu. Look for the cowboy steak (might want to share it, it’s big). Get you some gator burger, no reason to go all the way to Florida.

I was so excited to try out Jo Jo Po’Boy Shack…But the service wasn’t that good. Had to get my own menu. Waited forever to order for the lady to tell me they take orders at the counter. Just super rude. I won’t be back. The po’boy was awesome the fries was gross and the boil was okay..

Boiled crawfish were great for being this late in the season! The Amberjack with crawfish etouffee was off the hook, Pecan Cheesecake awesome as well! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff are Fantastic!

We drove 45 minutes to get THREE crab boils. Get home with it & everything taste horrible. The crab meat was freezer burnt & completely transparent. Everything tasted like salty water. Our butter sauces were basically empty.
I call to let them know & all they wanted was their food back, so beware you’re probably getting hand me down potatoes. Its understandable to think someone would lie & eat the food while wanting the money back but I would never. I’m sick that I wasted nearly $100 on food that wasn’t enjoyable.
The owner was so rude & inconsiderate. I’d understand if this was a corporate business but when your livelihood depends on your success, you’d think you’d handle situations a little more personable. Small businesses begin & end with loyal customers & today, Jojo’s lost a good one to something that could’ve been easily resolved.
I never asked for every dime back, I only wanted the common courtesy of understanding we couldn’t eat a bite of their food and had the problem been resolved, we’d go back next Saturday like usual.
We won’t come back to this area for crab legs unless C&Js crab shack is open.

Food was okay, but watch for the hidden charges, that said I might of missed it on the menu. We had a party of 6, 3 couples so 3 bills. Each of us got hit with a 20% large party fee. The place was almost empty. The waitress was good and probably would of received more because she did provide good service. They ask you if you want it fried or blacked, but hit you with a $2.00 surcharge for blacked. For the price that we paid it wasn’t worth it. Food could of been better.

It was our first time eating here, and i was thoroughly disappointed with the length of time it took to get our food and the overall quality. I had the crab boil for 1, and my husband had the sampler platter for 1. We waited a good hour to get our food and when it did come out, it was cold and the quality poor. For the price, I would not recommend wasting your money. By the way, we were there early before the crowd packed in and still waited way too long. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because the bloody Mary was decent and so was the side salad!

The best food I’ve had in a while. Fresh not frozen and the servings are enough to keep you full for the day. It was our first visit here but it wont be our last. We are definitely coming back. The waitress was very friendly and courteous. If you are in the area, you will be missing out if you don’t stop.
