I sat at the bar on the taphouse side of JoJos closest to the entrance with the stairs. The waiter was attentive and great to talk to about beer and distilleries in the area. The drink menu and food menu are regular standard bar fare but I will say the wings were solid and the crab cakes were also well done.
Really nice selection of Belgian drafts
Saturday evening was crowded but everyone was in good spirits and the staff handled everything.

We have been here multiple times and never get disappointed , we have tried their seafood pasta which was good , starter firecracker shrimp is really good. We have tried fried pickles and old bay fries they can improve . Burgers we had veggie impossible it was really good must try for vegetarians. Fried chicken sandwich was okay can improve. Where as the burger with steak and cheese , classic burger tasted really well. This place is located in the center of Frederick downtown , which is happening on weekends they open until 2am.Drinks are really good. They offer spl brunch and lunch menus (have daily specials) . Service is really good . It usually gets busy on weekend. Ambience is good.Perfect place to enjoy drink and food in Frederick downtown, it’s lively.

Came in for dinner with my family. Sat in the bar side at a table. Service was fantastic very attentive and timely. The loaded potato kegs were to die for. Loved them. Cheesesteak and cloak and dagger were great. I thought portions were a too big small. Dessert was the home run. red velvet cake and peanut butter pie were awesome!
Overall enjoyed jojos and would like to try more

Tweeks Road Trip Food Review:
I was on the tail end of a business trip, and one of my co-workers was looking for a Gluten Free food option, which is how we found JoJos in Fredrick VA. Not being experienced in gluten free places, I was dubious. All I had ever had was dry, poorly done gluten free baked items.. but this place was amazing. All the food was above average, and every detail of our experience was attended to. I highly recommend it if you’re on the road and want to sit down, “cloth napkin” place with great food and an extensive drinks menu. Call ahead though, as they seem to really get packed quickly after 5pm.
I’m an appetizer guy, and I love seafood, so I got the bacon wrapped sea scallops, and one of my co-horts got the gluten free fried dill pickle slices.. which were the best I’ve ever had. The cream and aioli sauces they pair with their dishes are also very yummy.
For my entree, I was being good, but still wanted more seafood so I had the “Eastern Shore Crab Salad” with a half an avocado and a lime old bay dressing. That was quite good, even if it was $24. However, I wanted more so I also opted to add a slice of pan seared salmon for $15 extra bucks.. so it ended up being the most expensive salad I’ve ever had. Good eats though.
The friend to my left had a really great looking (super big) crab cake with butter mashed potatoes. She gave me a taste and it was really quite good. The food was flavorful and the portions were hearty over minimalist/artsy. I approve!
The friend to my right had thick slice of pan seared salmon atop bed of creamy, buttered couscous that looked really good too — though she had problems finishing it after the appetizer.
After it was all said and done, were were rather stuffed, and we each probably dropped between around $50 per person (including appetizers). More than I was expecting to spend, but hey.. I got me some serious seafood too!

Stopped in on a busy Saturday! We were in a bit of a rush and they got us in and out expediently. I was looking for something vegetarian and the warm goat cheese salad with beets caught my eye immediately. It was delicious! Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and portions were generous.

Completely loved this place! Skylar was a great server! Drinks were the Beekeeper and the red sangria which we loved. Appetizers were the duck bites (delicious!!) and the crab dip (phenomenal!!). For dinner, we had the meatloaf and seafood pasta with old bay cream sauce. Soooooo good!! The only critique I can give was that the carrots in the vegetable of the day were undercooked for my tastes. Too firm. Wasn’t a deal breaker, so I’ll definitely be back! Would love a few more gluten free dessert options

Absolutely love JoJo’s Tap House! The cocktails are all hand-crafted and delicious. They recently updated their menu, and it’s the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and floral flavors. I tried the Beekeeper, but the Cosmo ended up being my favorite — it’s always fun to sample their seasonal creations.
They’ve even added Delirium on draft, which is such a great touch. The vibe here is always intimate, warm, and cozy. We happened to stop in when a bluegrass band was playing, and it was the perfect end to our evening. JoJo’s never disappoints — definitely one of my favorite spots in town!

I have found Jojos to be a consistently great dining experience. I have eaten here for lunch on a Saturday, brunch on a Sunday afternoon, Happy Hour on Friday, and the staff has always been warm and welcoming. The food choices are varied, delicious, and always just a little more than I can handle.
Their location on West Patrick Street makes this a very convenient spot for theater goers, with the Weinberg, MET, and New Spire Arts close by.
I normally eat in the pub side, but they also have a more formal space( read- without the TVs) that looks very welcoming, as well.
I highly recommend this place

Disappointed that I booked Valentine’s Day at Jojo’s Taphouse. Their website and facebook say that we would be able to enjoy all of Jojo’s menu PLUS their valentine’s day menu. Unfortunately, we drove over an hour to make it to the restaurant to find the items we wanted to order unavailable. I have never been here before so I was very excited to try Gluten Free items I can’t normally have. Our server did not seem concerned or phased by the fact that we were unhappy. No apology or effort made to make accommodations. This should have been made well aware to the patrons booking reservations. If you wanted to profit the most off of Valentine’s make that clear; don’t remove half of your menu without notice. Won’t be returning.
