I rarely give reviews but decided to take the time to do so today
We have a very large family gathering for Thanksgiving(40 adults and kids) and they stay for 3-4 days. After a wonderful Thanksgiving festival in our backyard (inside a heated tent) we had JoJoes Upper Allen cater our Saturday night meal
The order was ready right when we asked for it and everything was packaged perfectly. When we got home and unpacked the trays of food everything was nice and hot and the order was 100% accurate. Everyone loved the food and thought it came from some high end Italian restaurant. The Eggplant parm was made with fresh eggplant and was fantastic
The chicken parm was also a fan favorite
We had Meatballs, penne and spaghetti
Again everything just hit the spot!
I’ve been a customer for 30 years and it’s so great to see the torch passed down from Sal Sr to Sal Jr and Nico
One last note as I read some other reviews. I’ve seen a number of people complain about undercooked pizza even when asking for it well done. It is definitely a PENNSYLVANIA thing, same thing happens at local bagel shop! Don’t be afraid to ask for it Extra well done. Or if you like it like me extra extra well done, ask them to make it the way Sal Sr likes his pizza and I can guarantee you it will come out the way I like it but then don’t complain if it’s too well done!!!!!

We tried JoJo’s for the first time on Friday. While I received everything in my order, it was not correct. I specifically asked for no onions in my California cheesesteak and it was chock full of them. I can’t stand onions so I couldn’t eat it. I made sure to note in my order that I wanted it without. I didn’t open it until I got home so I had no idea.
My family also got a pizza, kids chicken tenders, meatball parm, and a tuna sub. They did seem to enjoy their choices.
We spent a lot of money and I was disappointed to not be able to eat my sandwich.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from this place. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for the first time, but the second time is the end or for me like you guys’s version of a well done. Pizza that still has pure white cheese and raw pizza dough is 100% not well done. Take the time to make the pizzas the way the customer asks for them, this must be.

I was hungry for pizza, but then I saw their menu. Wow! I ended up with the penne & meat sauce and added meat balls. Couldn’t believe how much food they give for the price! The whole meal was absolutely delicious, it came with salad and bread, and their house dressing was also amazing! Becca was my server, and she made sure I had a box to go (SO much food!) and a bag for my leftovers. For a counter service restaurant, the atmosphere was very nice. They have lots of desserts, milkshakes, alcoholic beverages, and the place was spotless. I’ll be bringing my friends and family next time!

My guys…I put 1 or 2 rating PER YEAR… First off let me say…. back when I was 24 I got a SERVE SAFE with a 100% PASS, NOT ONE QUESTION WRONG. I worked with food industry for 11 YEARS.
Why the hell did I give you a 5 star review with a 1 star finish?!?!? Well, the food tasted GREAT. the service was IMPECCABLE, the atmosphere was NICE.
I saw the bathroom, it SMELLED and there was PISS all OVER THE FLOOR. I mentioned to the workers they were needed in diligent work in the bathrooms MOPPING.
We left and heard a great man speak of being unjustly accused of a crime he didn’t commit and sentenced to death row for 30 years until he was exonerated.
My fiance has not eaten for 26 hours burping sulfur and having severe abdominal issues. Contacted the food department. And I contacted the jojo’s manager… He tried to tell me this is a possible FLU symptom
This isn’t the flu… I know the difference he continues to deny deny deny which is understandable coming from his line of work. I’m not saying this is a constant…. But I worked in food industry. And no body aches from either of us, no fever from either of us… Just intestinal… Diarrhea, burping sulfur, 3 or 4 times a day we feel like we had to vomit..(nausea). WE WERE Not hungry by food for 24 hours from both of us, after eating from JoJo’s in upper allen at 6pm on Tuesday. It’s now Wednesday night still suffering
10 pm that’s 28 hours and she’s STILL IN PAIN… She going to sleep burping sulfur
I have never smelled such sulfuric gas from someone burping
They say if a bathroom is filthy…. Leave. We should have left

I’ve been coming here for years. The food is good and on the higher side for pricing, but tonight I paid over $30 for one pizza… I ordered the supreme and asked to substitute the ham for black olives. Even though I took off a topping, they still charged me extra for the olives. I understand charging for toppings, but substituting one for another doesn’t seem as though there was a need for even more of a charge.

Great Italian food with gluten free options available. We had a few subs, salads and pasta dishes…the chicken parmesan was outstanding. Our servers, Ella and Katie were very pleasant and spot on with excellent service. Will definitely be back to JoJos in the future.

We tried JoJo’s for the first time and loved it! We ordered takeout on a Sunday for some football games. Everything was extremely easy placing the order and was ready on time. Can’t say that about other places!
We tried the BBQ Chicken Stromboli, Traditional Wings, and a Cheeseburger Sub. Wow! Everything was delicious! The showstopper was the Stromboli. Will be getting that again! You could tell everything was freshly made, too. The wings were just okay in my opinion. We tried the Medium and Hot Garlic and there really wasn’t a difference between the two unfortunately.
The portions here are massive! So we had plenty to go around and more. Prices were very good too, especially once we saw the sizes of it all.
Inside has a good amount of seating and a solid drink selection. Beer on tap and bottles.
We will definitely be coming back to JoJo’s! Great service and delicious food. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

I’ve come here twice and both times it was just absolute chaos. This most recent was last night. I ordered online an hour ahead a medium pizza and a Greek salad. Showed up at the correct time. My pizza was ready salad was not even though my order said it was ready. I was asked to step to the side and proceeded to wait 20 minutes but the salad never came. The cashier asked a few times but never came out. I finally had to ask for a refund because my 6 year old was out of about as much patience as I was. Finally got a refund and she attempted to hand me my pizza except it was sitting on a cold counter for 20 minutes. The box and pizza were both cold and I had to ask them to warm it up. When we finally left with a reheated pizza my 6 year old said mommy we shouldn’t come back here. She’s right. I understand a Friday night can get hectic and busy, but I don’t understand how a salad can trip you up. I didn’t even get an apology. The cashier was doing the best she could under the circumstances just seems like no one was willing to take a minute to help her or a customer.

I ordered a sub and wings from Jojos last nite. The sub was well made on fresh bread and was delicious. The wings were BBQ flavored but I wanted honey BBQ but they were apparently out. That was disappointing but if you’re running a food business these things should be available in your stock room. But anyway the wings were good but it seemed there wasn’t enough BBQ sauce on them but I guess that can be seen as a preference of mine specifically. Food here is good but not economical by a far shot
