My 1st time stopping into JoJo’s and it do not disappoint. Extremely friendly folks – the gentleman at the register suggested the customer favorites so I went with the crab cake sandwich . It was delicious with little to no filler , very flavorful and worth every penny. The chef , and would assume owner also shared a sample of mousse he has just made. It was a lovely experience for my first time- and will not be my last. Next up – crab soup and pizza !

Great customer service and the food was amazing!!! The crab soup was the best!!! The salmon sandwich and fries were delicious!! The peach sweet tea was a bit too sweet for me but it was still good. It was nice of them to bring my food to the car. Definitely will be returning soon.

If I could give JoJo’s Express more than 5 stars, I would! This local gem in Georgetown is hands-down a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of friendly, generous service that makes you feel like family. They were even kind enough to offer me some of their fresh-made lemonade while I waited, which was such a thoughtful touch!
The food is prepared so swiftly, yet you can tell every dish is made with real care. We tried a bit of everything and were blown away:
Seafood Delight Platter: Fresh, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly satisfying.
Homemade Crab Soup: You can taste the ‘homemade’ quality in every spoonful—it’s rich and loaded with flavor.
Crab Egg Rolls: Absolute perfection! Crispy on the outside and packed with tasty crab meat.
Fried Mac and Cheese: Pure comfort food done right.

My wife and I were traveling south through delaware. She noticed Jo Jo’s was located just a mile ahead behind Burger King. It’s a small place, but not a disappointment at all. It appears to be built mostly for online orders, take out, deliveries or drive thru. They have tables and chairs for outdoor eating only and the customer service area inside can fit only a few customers. But that’s nothing compared to the excellent service and food we ate. We ordered a crab pizza, crab soup, fries, and their steak and cheese sandwich. We both enjoy flavorful foods, and oftentimes try new things. This place was definitely new for us. When we entered, we were offered a taste of their crab soup, and were both very much enjoying the flavor, creaminess, temperature and freshness. Everything that was brought out to our car by a very friendly and great representative for this chain was delicious. Her pizza was very well made and we could actually taste the crab meat. My steak and cheese was also very delicious. The bread was not soft and mushy from the heat. The texture of the meat was very good. Not rubbery, or hard. The cheese and onion they use for this sandwich made this a really pleasant eating experience. Even the fries were made well. We both agreed to stop in again on the way back north.

Crab soup is tasty, not traditional “cream of crab”, but very good flavour. Cashier was very nice. But, negating all the positives was watching him ladle two small cups of soup into paper cups and put them in a microwave, right in front of me. As a chef, I avoid microwaving food if possible, and never a delicate thing like crab soup. And never in front of a customer paying $20 for a bowl of it. Very disappointing and not even hot enough to eat till I got it home.

This is my 1st time here and i was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I got the fish and shrimp platter and got fries and cole slaw. Everything was freshly made. Service was excellent as well, Shawn and Brandon were great. My wife got the crab cake sandwich and she loved it. If your traveling up 113 i highly recommend you come here.

What a find! Love road-trips for this exact reason- the little gems you find along the way This is a takeout place situated in the back of a Burger King. PLEASE do not let that sway your decision. You can eat at tables outside or in your car, weather permitting, or take it home if you live nearby. Regardless, do it! Very friendly greeting upon arrival and the choices all looked good. We ordered a cup of the crab chowder after our sample tasting – amazing flavor that explains the awards. We both ordered the fried fish platter with sides of FF, cole slaw and Mac and cheese. I was surprised on how big the portions of fish were. We had cod and it was perfectly breaded and seasoned – fresh and delicious. The FF were old bay style and the mac and cheese and coleslaw were on point. I think for the quality and portion size, it was well worth the price. Our lunch was so filling that we never got to the chowder we ordered ,so that went in the cooler for later. Fantastic find and possible stop on our return trip home.
