Some other reviewers complained about parts of the crust being “burnt” but charred crust is a feature of brick oven pizza so if you’re into that kind of thing, which I am, you’re probably going to like this pizza. The dough/crust was the star, the cheese and sauce were both good but not necessarily stand outs but together the whole was greater than the sum of its parts and taken all together it worked really well!

Truly disappointing how they fail to honor their own promotions. This was a 2-for-1 offer on Uber Eats, yet only one pizza was delivered. Our delivery driver was kind enough to go back to the restaurant, but they initially refused to give him the second pizza and only did so after he insisted. Completely unacceptable. We won’t be ordering from here again.

I am here currently at 4:36 PM I have asked to get in contact with a manager or owner in regards to ham being on my pizza. I was immediately met with disrespect by a employee (5’5 Hispanic with a hat on) instead of trying to help me in any way or even help me get in contact with a supervisor after showing my food and my receipt he refused all help. I would like to speak to the owner. Whether this is encouraged or not I’d just like help. I really don’t appreciate the service I’ve received

Around 8:40 I on U and extremely thirsty, like dying of thirst thirsty as I had been biking the majority of that evening. I pulled up to Jojo’s pizzeria to get water as I figured it would be a quick in and out.
I arrive at the door and I guess it closed. Mind you there are numerous people inside. I make eye contact with an olive toned brown haired lady. Who was probably like 5’3 and I am begging for water; not even to be let in, just for some water. She looks me straight in my eyes, smirks and then start shaking her head no. She then proceeds to walk to the back of the shop.
Safe to say that I will never be patronizing them ever.
Private businesses have every right to deny customers. But water is a basic human right that I was more than willing to pay for but could not even recieve even after begging. That put an extremely bad taste in my mouth.

While the place uses Neapolitan pizza photos, I would not consider their dough to be such – and it definitely doesn’t look like the photos.

I liked the brick fire pizza crust, however, toppings could be better. The portion size is quite large (imo), so a standard size can easily be split between 2. I placed an order through DoorDash for pickup, but when I arrived they had not even started making it so had to wait for some time. Customer service definitely needs improvement, it’s a small shop so there is minimal seating, however, the rest is all good. Also, those complaining about it being closed – this is in the Shaw neighborhood and majority of the restaurants don’t open until 4/5pm in the evening, so keep that in mind before planning to come here for lunch.

The pizza tasted good. Not the best but still tasty. They sliced the pizza into four slices which made for very big slices and that was awkward to eat. The basil flavor was strong which I liked. The ‘black char’ from baking was at the bottom of the crust and I personally don’t like that. The mozzarella sticks were tiny for the price but they were tasty and the marinara sauce was good too

We each ordered a slice of pizza here, and it was impressively large and beautifully baked in authentic Neapolitan style. A true taste of Italy. Highly recommended! ..
