Jojo’s is amazing!! I decided that I wanted to get out and hear some live music, after searching through a number of venues, I decided to give Jojo’s a try, and I’m so glad that I did! I found a garage less than a tenth of a mile away to park which was amazing. The moment you walk into Jojo’s you can feel the quaintness of it! I sat at the bar and the bartenders were phenomenal! I had one of the best old fashioned’s I’ve ever had(with Blanton’s). The food was absolutely amazing, and the band was great as well! The feel of Jojo’s is the true experience. You truly feel like you are in a Jazz club! Great Food, Great music, Great Atmosphere, Great Service…Great experience! I will definitely be back!

We came after dinner to listen to a live music which was great, but we were quite disappointed by the service. The lady at the front kindly asked us to pay 10$ each for live music which is understandable, but then they were quite unhappy when we ordered one drink for three people even if we already paid the entertainment fee. We ended up staying for just under an hour and were quite “pushed” by the waitress to either order more or leave the place which was quite rude. Aside from that the music and the place itself was great. We ended up spending 80$ for two mojitos and entertainment fee…

While visiting Washington, D.C. for my husband’s birthday, I decided to make reservations at this Restaurant/Bar Jazz club. The ambience was romantic and the live band was an added plus. The band even played Happy Birthday to my husband and another guest. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place r family and friends.

My group of 5 had a semi-late dinner here one evening. There was a live band playing an interesting choice of music (instrumentals only). Everything pretty much sounded the same. However, the overall ambiance and environment was okay. The service was very slow…it took a really long time to get our entrees. I cringed when some of the guests ordered dessert because I knew that would make for an even longer night lol. I must say that my meal, Blackened Salmon w/Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, was a lot better than I expected. The portion was huge and I couldn’t finish it all. With that said, they definitely give you enough food to match the price. I didn’t order any cocktails, but the others in the group were impressed with theirs. Overall, the place is really small inside so you’ll definitely need to make reservations. Also, the entertainment rotates so I’m sure some nights are better than others.

A fantastic place with wonderful food and vibes. We got a table close to the band. All of our dishes were delicious. We had the New Zealand mussels, Crispy calamari, the Lobster ravioli, Cajun pork chop & shrimp, and the New Zealand lamb chops. Reserve your table in advance. Definitely recommended!

The Blackened Salmon w/ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp was delicious, but the ribeye was fattier than I would’ve liked. Regardless, the service was great.

Jojo has a jazz bar/club downstairs and dining upstairs. They make a mighty effort to combine the two. The upstairs has a large-screen TV view of the stage which is nice, but, if you were hoping to experience a live jazz performance during dinner, it desn’t quite make the grade. The music downstairs is loud enough to be heard in the dining room upstairs, but it’s a lot like listening to music through a window in the next room at the neighbor’s house. Not really ideal for critical listening.

We came here for happy hour, and we thought it was amazing. The food was cheap, I got the ribs and it was only $10 and came with fries. What a steal! Ribs were great and I would 100% come back for some more.

First, I love the atmosphere at Jojo. This is a jazz club that usually has live music each night. Great music on during my visit. I ordered the drunken steak and the penne pasta. The pasta had chicken and sausage which gave the dish a welcoming creole feel. The drunken steak was cooked a perfect medium and the bourbon glaze with it was delicious! I had to fight the urge to lick the plate clean of that glaze. Everyone was friendly and I had a great time at Jojo!
