I stopped by Jojo’s while in town visiting. My friend and I enjoyed our meals and loved the live music. It’s a cozy and intimate spot with good food and drinks. The server was friendly and welcoming.

Birthday celebration last evening. The music was awesome, there’s a small band, specializing in Jazz, but covering different genres of music.
We were a party of 10, so our tables were upstairs, oh that’s right, I didn’t mention there is an upstairs also. No worries – the band still sounded awesome. Great location. Parking is tight, but it’s always tight in Washington DC.
Now, on to the food. NO ONE complained about the taste or lack of flavor nor seasonings, and we all ordered a variety of meals. I ordered the Drunken steak dinner.
It’s a nice place to go have a beer OR champagne…
I’ll end with photos of the menu, a poster that I thought was great and, my meal with a swirl of potatoes.. tasty and artistic.

The vibes was there just really small place and we went for the jazz experience but was seated upstairs away from the performance. The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t memorable either. The drink I had was really good and tangy, the Jungle Inn. Our waitress was really nice and attentive and the lady that greeted us was sweet. I would like to visit again to enjoy the show but even with reservations you have to get there a little early to get a seat downstairs

Had a fantastic time here on a Saturday night. The friendliest and most helpful hostess around. We wound up enjoying some lovely playing and the cocktails were exceptional. Will definitely be back for more performances in the future.

Suddenly this is the top rated place in DC among jazz venues. And it is easy understand why. Just a combination of great music, good simple food, and family like atmosphere. Nothing extra. Today it was the evening of Brazil jazz, Proseco, and pasta. Enjoyable.
PS. But mussels were overcooked , unfortunately.

Had a great experience here. They were packed, and seemed to have accepted more reservations than they could accommodate. However, the hostess went out of her way to make sure our party could sit together. The server was friendly. The bar was experiencing a delay, but he was honest with us about that up front. We appreciated that. When the drinks finally did come they were delicious. And the food was AMAZING. I had the calamari and the short rib ravioli. Absolutely delicious. We wil definitely return.

We celebrated NYE and my husband’s birthday at Jojo’s! It was awesome!
This was our 1st time but certainly not our last!!
The jazz singer and band was fantastic!
We just found out the band will be playing on our anniversary on 2/21 so we’re going to make reservations to come again!

When I’m in DC, this is my spot! Happy hour at the bar is not to be missed. The food and drink hit the all the marks. Bartenders are great, servers and other staff are so friendly and helpful, and the regulars are top notch! Now that I live in Florida, I sure do miss frequenting this place. Hope to be back very soon!

We came here for our 3rd year anniversary dinner. Both my husband and I ordered the crab stuffed salmon. It was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was intimate and the music was delightful. Very attentive staff. We definitely do not have anything like this place in Albuquerque, New Mexico so it was a very nice treat!

This is a great place to listen to authentic jazz music and to engage with interesting people. The food is magnificent. I wasn’t crazy about the bread pudding dessert. If you just want to dine without the music there is a 2nd level. There is a 2 hour seating limit on the lower level and a $10 cover if sitting at a table. No cover at the bar.
