had an amazing experience at Joia Italian Restaurant. Everything was excellent, from the quality of the food to the professionalism of the staff.
The pasta was outstanding and truly authentic Italian, and the wine selection was very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming and gives you the feeling of a real Italian restaurant.
I especially want to thank one of the servers who is from Sri Lanka. He was very friendly, professional, and provided exceptional service that made our experience even better.
What makes this place even more special is that the chef is actually the owner of the restaurant, and at 66 years old he is still cooking with passion. His experience and love for cooking are clearly reflected in the amazing taste of the food.
If you are looking for a real Italian dining experience with great food and excellent service, you should definitely visit this restaurant. Highly recommended!

I went to dine here for Mother’s Day with the family, and it turned to be the best decision I’ve made. They have great Margherita Pizza and Spaghetti Bolognese, and at the end of it all, a very nice Tartufo Ice Cream. Nothing chaotic about the interior, it was perfectly mellow! Excellent service by William!

Service was not good. We had to ask for for everything. Waiter was very abrupt and not personable. Ceasar salad was tasteless and dry. Main course was good although had to ask to get pepper and parmesan. Cheesecake was like pudding as it wasn’t set. A bit disappointing as this place had been recommended. Only saving grace was the pasta was tasty.

Established in ‘97 this Aurora restaurant continues to create delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Their hand tossed, wood fired pizza is a must try along with their homemade pasta cooked to a perfect al dente. With a welcoming staff and nice ambiance there’s no doubt I’ll be back.

Great Italian resturant with up to date menu items and skilled staff. Up beat vibe while still feeling classy inside. Food is delicious and the pizza made in a wood fired oven. Prices are also reasonable and location right off of Yonge street. Highly recommend if you haven’t been.

Overall the food was delicious, authentic, and cozy environment. However, me and my 7 girlfriends felt intimidated by the old waiter tha was serving us last night. We felt like we were being discriminated just because we are a group of Asia. Yesterday was a snowy Sunday night and the restaurant wasn’t busy, and yet our server always look and starred at us without any smile and rush us through out the entire meal. The other younger waiter and waitresss seems perfectly friendly, we just felt totally upset about our overall experiences last night, and we couldn’t find the store manager to express our stress during dinner before we left.

went to this place excited and looking forward to the food. I went with my husband, we got seated, and waited for the waitress. When she finally came, I placed my order. She asked if I had ordered the tiramisu, and I said no, these are my orders. Her rude reply: “You don’t need to repeat yourself twice. I understood.”
That was enough for me. I didn’t even bother trying the food. I got up and left because I don’t give my money to a place where I’m not respected. From what I’ve read in other reviews, this isn’t just me — the customer service here is awful.

Family style restaurant. The ambiance is cosy and welcoming. Very professional service. Our waiter was friendly happy to advice when we wanted little changes in the pizza’s ingredients. Knowledgeable about wine.

I had a reservation for my son’s birthday but they didn’t even call me that they had water issues. We went there and saw the note on the door that they’re closed…No need to mention my son was soo disappointed we had to leave literally from the parking lot.
