Went there and had the onion ring appetizer which was more than enough for two people but we still pounded through it and it was DELICIOUS. We each ordered a burger and chips and one bite into that burger I knew it was going to fill me up way faster than I had filled myself up on the onion rings but I still found it through that too it was delicious. Highly recommend!!

Im sorry I did not get my waitress name. I was in to dine early afternoon. At a time when good service is sometimes hard to find. My waitress was on it. Amazing at her job. Checking on things an making sure my drink was filled. I have been here many times never had bad service but this young lady went above and beyond for her customer. I believe i had the grilled pork tenderloin mashed potatoes and green beans. This was on the 5th. Food was reasonable good and my waitress gets 5 stars on all.

The food and service were great! We were there the night of the Peach Bowl, so they were busy. It was louder than we would have liked, but we understood. I had a patty melt, 2 had the fish and one had pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

This is a good ole fashioned mom and pop place. I tried the crappie plate and really enjoyed it. Twenty dollars to get a good meal and a beer.

Was very mediocre. The atmosphere was nothing special, there wait times were something close to the equivalent of a finer restaurant. My companion got french fries with her meal instead of chips, at an additional $3. She did comment she was pleased her fish was not greasy, unfortunately my chicken was. All said, the food took 25 minutes to be cooked and was extremely bland. The chips were crunchy but tasteless and the chicken, while real meat, was also bland. For somewhere new trying to find their flavor I could understand missing the mark, but being a long established place like this is, I expected much more and was sadly disappointed.

I had the breaded tenderloin dinner, which surprisingly didn’t come with gravy, fries, and I got sweet potato fries just to try them. The tenderloin was tasteless. I’m not trying to be mean, it was just completely tasteless. The fries were not good, and the sweet potato fries were extremely overcooked, unless they’re supposed to be black on the ends and crunchy like potato chips. Our server was pretty nice. It’s way past time to remodel the dining room.

Onion rings are fantastic.. Went here to watch NFL game during lunch. Bar was dark. TV was partially blocked by hanging glasses. Had to use the light from my phone to read the menu. Would consider food to go from here, but not interested in dining here again.

After enjoying my second St. Paddy’s day at Johnsons Corner, I figured it was time to write a review. I can’t believe I haven’t sang their praises earlier. Some folks would consider Johnsons Corner a dive bar, but I think it is a good old fashioned neighborhood bar with great food.
They are known for their delicious, Pork Tenderloin Sandwich which is one of my favorites. Another meal they are popular for is, St. Patrick Day Corned Beef. They are so popular on St Paddy’s that folks are waiting outside their door before they open at 10AM. The corned beef is flavorful and is served with cabbage and boiled potatoes. Of course you gotta have a glass of Guinness. They have other craft beers if Guinness isn’t your thing.
I also recommend them for, Catfish Strips and Crinkle Fries during Lent. A must order, is their Onion Rings. If you are dining with friends, order them as an appetizer, you’ll be glad you did. Oh, they also do Stanley’s Pizza which is amazing.
I’ve had multiple different servers and they have always been attentive and friendly. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet Jimmy the owner, he’s a true character and he’ll make you laugh.

I did a curb side pick-up for 1 of your “Famous Pork Tendeloin’ sandwiches & was so disappointed. It seems you have gone from a hand battered huge fritters to a frozen patty that even I can buy at Schnucks plus it was overcooked. I suggest you update your menu pics to reflect your new sandwich instead of keeping the delicious looking one you currently have.
This statement is only for the pork tenderloin sandwich. I highly recomend their fried catfish, onion rings to die for & so much more on their menu. I just didntvwantc someone see the menu & make a trip for that.

We were seated a corner booth. It seems our waitress kept overlooking us there. We got blocked in by the 2 men seated at the oversized table next to ours. Atmosphere was barlike. Food was really good.
