I ate lunch here today. It was a perfect day to eat outside and it was a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend the spicy chicken sandwich with crispy fries. Gets your taste buds tingling but it’s not over hot. I wish I knew my servers name. She was so sweet and really on the ball. So whoever was taking care of me on the patio on 8/14 around noon thank you so much. You are very kind and personable. I’ve eaten here several times before. I highly recommend this awesome place to anyone looking for a good meal.

Walked in on Sunday at about 11:55 AM and seated ourselves in a booth in the side room. We were greeted by a very pleasant waitress who appeared to be overwhelmed with customers. She took our drink and food requests. A glass of water for my wife and a lemonade for me. Our food order was a chicken cheese steak and a beef cheese steak. Both with French fries. She brought our drinks. An hour later we were still waiting on our food. We finally asked a different waitress how much longer? She said she would check with the kitchen but never returned with an answer. We waited 15 more minutes and asked again. We got an apology but no food. We could not wait any longer and had to leave.

I got chicken parm. The sauce was only sweet. They said they ran out of tomatoes and used tomato paste. Not their usual homemade sauce. Chicken was warm in the middle and not cooked well as it was very thick. The edges were very hot due to possibly the microwave heating. We were told it was 165. The rolls were chewy and quite wrinkled when warm when they cool they were post microwave rocks. Or very stale. They were very nice and let me order the Ruben and it was fine.

1st time here, it was very nice. The food and service were excellent. Made reservations to return for my graduation dinner with family in a few months. We had the steakhouse chips and garlic mussels as an appetizer, and the Antipasto salad(special for the week, is how an antipasto salad should be), and the coffee rubbed pork chop. And creme brulee for dessert.

Pretty bummed out with our experience at Johnsons Cafe over the weekend. My girlfriend and I were staying in PA to visit family over the weekend. I don’t eat meat and dairy so it was cool to find a place with so many vegan options on google. Well their website / online menu was out of date or just plane false advertising. They didn’t have ANY of the dishes they had posted. The server let us know this but there was still at least a veggie burger I could eat so we decided to stay. There was one other couple there that left shortly after we arrived. 35 minutes after we placed our order the server came to our table and let us know it will be a little bit longer but its on the way. 20 minutes after that she returned with another excuse why it was taking so long. Something to do with the printer not working. Super disappointing because by this point we were there over an hour without our food. We were also the ONLY people there so it wasn’t even busy.

Second time eating at Johnson’s Cafe, the waitress was very nice & did a well job! Ordered the bbq chicken nachos & I believe the bistro salad..very good! 🙂 I liked the fries in the salad!

What a pleasant surprise. Had a Doctor’s appt in Williamsport, our favorite restaurants were closed, so we tried Johnsons Cafe, now this is our favorite restaurant. The patio was pleasant, although the restaurant was very busy the service did not suffer. The food was fresh and very good. Just the best place for lunch!!!!!

An absolute gem in an unlikely place. If you are into food this place should be on your “must do” list. Everything was exceptional, food quality, presentation, preperation, selection and service. It was not cheap but I deem it to be a good value. Bring your appetite and bring your most discerning friends. They will thank you.
