It was so worth the trip. I went for business and my team wanted to stop and I’m glad we did. Everything is great and I grabbed a variety for my family. I have pics but some are missing because they couldn’t wait on me to take pics. Will visit again soon.

Well deserving of 5 stars. Best glazed donuts I had in a very long time. Great burger that was patted out and just the right size with great flavors, club was good. Large variety of donuts. Probably the best donut holes I’ve ever had. Staff was friendly, inside was clean and restroom were also. I definitely would make the 2 hr drive for this place again and If you’re in Perry its a must stop!

Hadn’t even been in town for a week, our real estate agent told us about the bakery. The doughnuts are made with love and them things are quite addictive. The apple fritters, holy hell. Sorry Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’, yall no match for Johnson Bakery! We will return.

The line was out the door and for good reason….homemade goodness!! Glazed donuts still warm are melt in your mouth delicious, bread pudding , maple bacon donut, strawberry croissant. Everything was fantastic. Friendly staff and P.S. if a local suggests something…GET IT

What a great place! People who work there are so nice! We always make a stop when travelling to get some doughnuts which are the best! My daughter wanted a maple doughnut and they only had maple bacon. They offered us to make a maple one. Thank you so much to a gentleman there today for making a special maple doughnut for my daughter!!! She said it was the best maple daughter:)

The doughnuts are ridiculous. My wife had a chicken salad croissant for lunch too, and she hasn’t stopped raving about it 24 hours later. Great small business, and far better than any big chain eateries/bakeries.

I have heard how wonderful the donuts are here, for years, and how Johnson’s sort of compares to our local favorite donut location. So, my family decided to finally make the drive and try them on our way on an out of town trip. Unfortunately, we were highly disappointed. Although some were decent, the majority were not. Most tasted like grease, which typically means the grease the donuts are fried in needs to be changed. They are much heavier in density and really don’t compare at all to our favorite. I wish them continued success, my family just won’t be recommending them to anyone, nor will we be returning there again. We’ll stick with our local favorite donut location.

Everyone I met from Perry said I had to try Johnson’s bakery. I will say it does not disappoint. Not much atmosphere, and the staff isn’t the friendliest, but you can’t top their donuts. They are divine. There’s a little area for seating that you can use their Wi-Fi, or sit out on the sidewalk in a couple of chairs. Coffee was good donuts, were great.
