This is not even a hole in the wall barbecue joint, but a pull-up get your food parked get out and eat in the areas they provide if you want to barbecue joint and I’m telling you now, you’re going to be hard-pressed to find much better in the area. Every time I’m in Harrisburg, I stop and get a barbecue at Johnson’s. Ask for the spicy, it won’t let you on fire, but boy does it taste amazing. Highly recommended. Tell them the ice cream truck driver sent you.

First time there, got a Philly cheesesteak. The meat was flavorful and the onions and peppers were grilled perfectly, finished with melted cheese. Yum! Next time I’m getting the pulled pork. This might become my go to spot.

Full Rack of ribs $20 really good rub. Now I know BBQ places are different but, this was the first BBQ that sold there ribs cold, very delicious I would recommend you to stop and try this place. Dosent look good on outside but staff was very friendly.

Best bbq I’ve ever had in my life! You have to check it out. Their corn fritters, baked beans and fries are great too! I live in Colorado. My brother lives in Harrisburg and I have him ship out Johnson’s BBQ sauce because it’s that delicious!

WOW! Was expecting blah, potato salad. This place was delicious! I had half lbs. of pork and smoked Turkey. And a bottle of sauce (not sure which flavor, didn’t matter, was fantastic!) what a lovely delicious place! I’m glad you exist and thank you. I’ll be back! Oh, and potato salad was also delicious. I’m an experienced home chef, and just so happy! Was really great!!
