Pretty good pulled chicken. Excellent mashed potato with gravy and coleslaw. The pulled chicken was flavorful but not very smokey flavored. The sides were great. Excellent service. Would recommend.

Best breaded tenderloin around. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the service is excellent. They also have the best fried chicken and the smoked meatloaf is amazing. And let’s not forget the great BBQ and burgers. Definitely get the onion rings for a side.

Can’t quite give it a 5 Star, but will give it a 4+ Stopped there this afternoon to pick up for home. Bought a full rack of ribs and 1 lb. Pulled Pork. Excellent flavor and would highly recommend it for people who doesn’t like a lot of smoke taste. We could not slice the ribs, the meat fell off of the bone when we tried that. The sauce also has an excellent flavor. No complaints on my part. Would recommend it to anyone. I, personally, just like a little more smoke flavor. I’m sure I will make more purchases. Small restaurant, but seats 25 people, plus outside tables.

We decided an afternoon drive was in order. Went for lunch. Both of us had the combo-pulled pork sandwiches lid 1 side and drink. We v CB Jose coleslaw and fresh onion rings. It turned out to be a good choice. Reasonably priced and good service. I called ahead for their hours. The reply was they’d stay open until they ran out. They had a lot of other choices on the menu including baby back ribs. We will have to return.

Went to restaurant on Sat March 3rd. Loved it. Workers very nice. Food very good. Portions on baked beans and potato salad a bit small though. Ribs good. Small eating area but not a problem at all. Parking a bit small. Another great thing….no loud obnoxious music blaring. All n all, very impressed. We will go back soon! Nice drive from Evansville.

This is a great place to eat BBQ — especially in Oakland City, IN where it is sometimes difficult to find open restaurants. We enjoyed eating inside at John’s Smoking BBQ where the service was fast and friendly; food was hot and delicious; prices were reasonable. We will go back there.
