Love this place! I ordered a special Cajun combo, and the snow crab with shrimp are really fresh, crawfish is a little bit below my expectation but definitely would visit again for the crab and fish. And they have really nice price for its quality! Highly recommended!

First, we were greeted by a very friendly young lady! She helped us place our order, since it was our first time dining here. When we got our food…it was SO GOOD!! It was hot and fresh, cooked to perfection, and the portions were crazy!!!I had enough on my plate for two meals! I would definitely recommend!

The John Special was plentiful! As well as the catfish maker (4 pieces of fish and 2 sides for $13.99)!!! You definitely get your moneys worth here! Clean and quick even on a Friday night.

My first time. I liked that the restaurant was warm, so many restaurants these days try to freeze you, I assume to get you out quicker. I like being comfortable when I eat, not rushed or worried about my food getting cold, so the warmth was a very nice feature. Food portions are very good, prices are not bad and the restaurant was very clean. My issues were that hushpuppies should be included in every meal, not as one of your 2 side picks. And my potato salad and a couple of my flounder pieces tasted like they were seasoned with too much MSG, especially the potato salad, it looked great, a very homemade look and the first bite was just as I expected a homemade potato salad to be, but then the metallic taste kicked in and that was how the next couple of bites I took tasted, could not not finish it. And the last 2 pieces of thhe flounder had a metallic taste. So I’m not sure if I will go back.

The best seafood boil in Anderson! The “John Special” is a massive amount of food and the Louisiana-style seasoning is spot on. You can tell they’ve upgraded their suppliers recently—the crab and shrimp were huge and fresh. Great service and even better flavor. A must-visit if you want a bold, messy feast!

This was my first time trying out this place and enjoyed it for the most part. The fist thing that I notice right off the bat was how warm it was in the restaurant (didn’t know if that is something they do so the food doesn’t get cold as fast or what but it was definitely a little toasty) the restaurant was very clean along with the restrooms. One thing that was a little annoying was the numbers being called out and a voice saying TAKE YOUR MEAL (this seafood restaurant you order and pay for your meal before sitting down, how you would do at a fast food restaurant is the best way to describe it)
The food in my opinion was FANTASTIC!! Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in that category! I got the snow crab seafood boil with potatoe , corn and mild garlic butter seasoning. The temperature of the food was perfect and the trays with our food also came with gloves, hand wipes and a seafood bib.
The wait was not long at all and I was very pleased with the service! We will definitely be going back!

We go to John’s about once a week. We have three small kids with us and the staff at John’s are so friendly. The food is great it’s always fresh and delicious! The last time we went I got the fried oysters and they were amazing

The first time we ate there it was a great experience, but on Christmas Day my wife and I decided to check them out again and there was a different Asian woman named Linda running the counter. She was alone at the counter and to be honest she was SOOO RUDE. She definitely didnt care about our dining experience, just cared about the money we spent. She is probably a family member of the owners or part owner but she was very rude in how she spoke. Instead of saying thank you after I paid she just handed me my receipt saying “HERE ” and her tone almost made us walk out. She kept this up the whole time we were ordering. We’ve agreed to not go back there. I want to be clear when I say that that was just our experience on the second trip but the first time was great. Go ,see for yourselves if you like the place. Maybe Linda wont be there in the front.

The food was very good. Our server was professional and outgoing. She made sure that we had everything we needed. This visit was on my birthday.They did a great job with the food and making ny party feel special. There was another birthday celebration at the same time and that person got the same attention
