Quiet and extremely friendly staff gave this restaurant a solid four stars. The tomatoes they used for my salad were extremely tough to eat, and I never had that before. Pizza was good overall, bringing an appetite because they take pride in portions, and you will leave full!

Another stop that is a must do when we are in town. You cant get pizza like this anywhere in the country, but here. Trust me, I have tried many. Im not sure how they make the pizza so good, but I grew up on this and when I moved away, it was the biggest thing I missed! Im so happy they haven’t changed. Fresh ingredients, good cold beer. The perfect place to relax after a long drive.

I am going through an illness didnt want to cook. Got us spaghetti and meatballs and rotini and meatballs and a side of sauce. I called because the rotini wasnt cooked through. Staff told me they are al dente, which i know the difference of and offered me a $7 credit. I tried microwaving it to fix it but still had that raw noodle taste After a $55 dinner delivered. We order pizza or pasta from here often. Guess we will be ordering pasta somewhere its cooked all the way from now on.

Awesome and friendly staff!
I tried them out due to the fact that I drive right by then all the time. The restaurant is very visible from the street. Check out the picture of the big sign.
The New York strip steaks were awesome . We enjoyed the great pack job they did for our take out food. I’m going back soon for their pizzas because they also look great.

Our meals were ok, but certainly not great. For an Italian restaurant, their sauce (on pizza and entrees) really lacked flavor. Zero zest, very bland. The lasagna was really good but the boring sauce killed it. The pizza ingredients were good but the sauce killed it. Same with the Chicken Parmesan. Salad was some torn up iceberg lettuce and one sliver of tomato. The upcharge blue cheese dressing was completely underwhelming. My wife ordered cream of mushroom soup but was served minestrone which looked so good she chose to keep it. That soup was fantastic!

I highly recommend Johns Restaurant
The food is wonderful, I love the pizza (my brother always orders some fish thing for his plate that is really good too). The place feels nice and welcoming too, making for a pleasant spot to have dinner with friends and family and hold conversations. In a prior experience, I even got to talk to the owner who was quite nice and seems to delight in talking to customers.
This experience though, our waitress Maggie was exceptional. Best waitress anyone at the table had had in our collective lives. Always seemed to be there when we needed her and never disturbed us when we didn’t. Further, she was very good at anticipating our needs and either already being on the ball, or being right there and asking us if we needed it before we even needed to ask. Most times in my life, when I have gotten a pitcher of soda to share between my siblings and I, it’ll be refilled maybe once in the experience. Maggie was on top of it and refilled it probably 5 times tonight! Wonderful! Maggie, if you read this, THANK YOU.
As for the picture I included, I did that because I found it highly amusing and was near the table. Sorry for not including a picture of the food. I really do enjoy it though.

We got pizza, pasta, and fried chicken with a pitcher of blue moon. All very moderately priced and well done. Excited to eat here again, there pizza is so crispy!
