Do yourself a favor and take a little trip back in time, drop by this Carlisle icon. Same people, great food (the sausage for breakfast is fantastic) and great prices. We no longer live in the area but whenever we visit we will always try to stop by and savor the memories.

We really enjoyed dinner here tonight. My grandparents came here all the time, and so when I was in town I wanted to check the place out. I had the lamb gyro and rice pudding and both were wonderful. The baked flounder and macaroni and cheese looked great too. They also have cheese steaks and gyros which aren’t listed on the menu. Everything seemed home-cooked and there is a very friendly home-town vibe here. We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing variety. Fresh home cooked food at affordable prices. Very friendly, efficient and attentive wait staff. Look forward to many more meals at this little gem of a restaurant.

This place is quaint and perfect for sitting with a friend. The food is excellent and the options are perfect, great home cooked food and amazing homemade Greek breakfast sausage patties. Get a stack!

We are regulars here. The food reminds you of being a kid and the staff are so kind you feel like you are sitting at their kitchen table. Kathy, Dee, John and Nick are all the kindest people and they will make sure to even remember how you like your coffee. Don’t hesitate, get there now!! You won’t regret it!

I don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. The food was so bland and unappealing. Fish and meat were overcooked, tomatoes tasted like they were from a can, instant mashed potatoes, just disappointed in the entire meal. The server was kind enough, but we won’t be going back, there are better options for diners in town.

Wife and I went to John’s Hideaway Restaurant for the first time on Saturday. I ordered the chipped beef over toast with hashbrowns. I have to say, it was the best darn chipped beef breakfast I ever had. It tastes like homemade, was nice and creamy, didn’t need any extra seasoning. Well done!

Nice restaurant that is off the beaten path. We have eaten here several times for breakfast and enjoyed every one. Highly recommended.
