Door dash truck driver customer. I can’t come in with my truck so door dashed. It’s one of the best Dominican food restaurants I’ve ordered from. The pernil monfongo were excellent yuca was yuca. Rice was dry and expensive. Potato salad was ok. Value for money 5 stars even though expensive the food is fresh. I made 3 meals preps and had a giant plate. I’ll have the yuca tomorrow morning

What happened to John’s fried chicken I came in there last night and wanted to throw up they never have chicken soup they never have anything the food looks like it’s been sitting there for months literally it’s so disgusting I’m so sad for this because I used to come in here all the time and it got rid of the girls with the attitude I thought the food would change but I guess not wow very disappointed Cliffside Park has the best John’s fried Chicken you’re going to want and they give you way more food this place gives you a small Chinese food container and charges the same price as Cliffside Park do better because I feel like this place is going to end up closing up what a shame somebody needs to go and inspect because I’m sure they do not have a high score.

Paid $15 for a few pieces of pork, banana and rice – it is very expensive. But their rotisserie chicken is ok. I don’t think I will visit again

If I can give negative stars I would. The food can definitely be better (been here a good handful of times to rule out a “bad day” or it was on the way to my destination ) and each time it was a bad experience. The food was horrible and so is their customer service. The ladies in the front ignore you up until you have to call their attention to order, then you get the eye roll and attitudes and your food being rudely served… you’d think they work for free… The gentleman that works in the back (maybe the owner) is just as rude(or worse) than his servers which make sense. It seems as if you’re not from their country, you don’t get respectful attention or good service. Their food is generally dry and over priced and they even charge you over a dollar for sauce that does with your food. Horrible in general, I have no idea how they have anything over 1 star. Do NOT recommend at all!

When I went into this restaurant I was fully convinced that I was in for a good treat.
As a specific woman was serving me the food, she was talking all over the food. I remember that same specific woman talking all over the food last year as well.
I went on to order chicken and brown rice and I thought it was going to be very delicious. If you were to roll a paper up and just chew on it, that would be the exact same flavor that the chicken had. It was unbearably bland. The rice could have had more seasoning as well.
