With a new owner we were unsure of what to expect. The service was great. The food was hot and presented well. The chicken Alfredo and Fisherman’s platter were very tastey and well proportioned. The salads were fresh and good sized. The hush puppies were light, sweet and savory. The best I’ve had.

Sunday buffet and chef behind the buffet serving are fantastic. Several protein options. Stuffed chicken breast, corn casserole, homemade mashed potatoes always delicious. Wish service was more consistent so that’s why it’s a 4.

We LOVE the beer batter fish dinners !!! We ate here frequently before the sale to new owners . We were there last week and got the large fish dinner … a generous portion of fish , fries and coleslaw !!! Tonight we got the large expecting the same …. We think we got the small .. significantly smaller portion of fish and coleslaw . The atmosphere has changed from sporty to more modern and the interior looks great . However… we do not like how the new owners are constantly walking around and look to be getting in servers way . I wish I could leave 5 stars but the difference in portion size in a week and the 2 older fellas wondering about I just can’t . We loved dining there ! We may be back and give it another go … but we will be checking out some other places for fish dinners !!!

Stop for dinner. Not good. My husband got chicken fried steak. It was so over cooked . The gravy was gloopy and thick. He asked for more gravy. Well waitress never brought any more gravy. Never refilled drinks. Beans in soup were hard. I had to ask another waitress for a box. When our waitress finally came back she said oh sorry I forgot to tell you we don’t have any gravy. Don’t think we will be back.

I was unaware that Classic 57 had changed names/owners. Very much the exact same in every way for now. Same great food, fast, fast service, great atmosphere, and phenomenal waitresses. My sister bought me a grilled cheese and soup when I was terribly sick. It was amazing! The first food that I could eat in a week. The pies here are delicious. I highly recommend this place. Another homerun for Minerva!

We stopped in for breakfast today and WOW! everything was delicious. I had steak and eggs and my husband had the Lions special. My sirloin was delicious! You get plenty of food and the prices are reasonable. They also have a delightful array of bakery items. The cinnamon rolls are huge and the butterscotch pie they were also we will be back!
