Went in last night with a couple friends and (thanks to Lent) I had to request a few modifications to my order. Our server Liam was amazingly patient, kind and just overall terrific! My food came out exactly the way I asked and I’d like to thank Liam and the chef for being so accommodating!

The only negative was the girl at the front who clearly would rather be anywhere else Bartender was excellent. He has amazing charisma, and was very welcoming to minor customizations other than what was on the menu. I was checked on twice while my beer getting close to the bottom of the glass, but it never sat empty without attention. They saw me devouring the wings (highly recommend) and promptly offered towels. Overall I appreciate the personal touch most of the employees showed here, and will gladly keep giving 30% gratuity. Always a solid choice for lunch. Tried the firecracker shrimp tacos for the first time, and they were delicious! My co-worker said the jambalaya was seasoned well. Their hot wings are always on point. Service seemed a bit off on our visit, but it’s not always like that. Overall, it was a good meal, but I’ll be back soon just for those firecracker shrimp tacos!

This is our favorite Johnny’s Tavern location! We really like the layout of the tables and booths. We never feel crowded and there are so many TV’s to watch sports. We love their pizza. There have been a few times when the service seemed a little busy even thought they weren’t that busy.

So-so at most. KU game was not on the table screen. Our waiter was fine, but the place felt trashy. The food was okay but the portions are huge. We should have shared.

I’ve been to different locations of Johnny’s Tavern and they all have been great. There is plenty of space to park. The server was great. We were there for almost 2 hours and the server didn’t rush us at all. We both ordered tacos. I had the shrimp taco. It was a bit too spicy for me, but it was good. My friend has the street tacos.
There are many TVs to watch sports in the restaurant. There are even small TVs on each table.

We hadn’t been here in a while due to always having super slow service. Tonight was a nice surprise. Quick service. Drinks were never empty. Marilee checked on us frequently. The tenderloin was good. My husband had the bbq wings, said they were ok. Plenty of TV screens to watch. Mixed crowd. It’s a bit on the noisy side

I came in for a late lunch/early dinner. I sat at the bar and ordered the gluten free, meat-lovers pizza. The staff was very friendly and informative with their food recommendations and the pizza was delicious! Great location and atmosphere. This is a great place to grab a brew with a bro, there were plenty.

Ive gone consistently these past 3 weeks to Johnny’s and every time I’ve had amazing service! My server Lilly was so sweet and consistently checked on us making sure we were doing well! Will for sure be back next week!
