Wow! This was the BEST, SUPER TASTY Mexican food…and with the kindest and friendliest owner, Johnny!! My family and I came by for the first time tonight….and we look forward to coming back again, and again. We had the Shrimp tacos (shrimp cooked perfect with great size/plump shrimp, beautifully plated, delicious toppings!), Carne Asada tacos (seasoned and cooked perfectly!), Pork tacos that are amazing..tasted like it was slow cooked overnight (so delicious!!), plus PERFECT made to order delicious Guacamole….Johnny KNOWS what he is doing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It’s not often we are in the neighborhood of Wilder but when we are, stopping at Johnny’s is a MUST! The tacos are amazing!! Incredibly flavorful, fresh, filling, and great value. The service was top notch and very friendly- can’t wait to go back!

Not stingy with the meats either! If I could I’d eat there everyday!!

We eat at Johnny’s at least once a week. It’s just a small taco truck next to Lucky C Auction in Wilder that has a couple of picnic tables. I call ahead to have my order ready to pick up. It’s all cut up fresh daily and cooked while you wait. It’s so good!

I have eaten at all the places in Wilder and as far as Taco Trucks go.. I think Johnny’s is the best! Pros: Food tastes amazing. Cons: Johnny isn’t always open during the day because he picks up his family in the late afternoon.

As a trucker it’s hard to find spots where really good food can be found. Johnny’s Tacos are just that, a welcome change from the typical fast food that’s we usually find at truck stops. Also he has Cecina, a seasoned beef that you will almost never find at Mexican restaurants or taco trucks, so give that a try over the Asada for a change, you won’t regret it.

I had the carne asada burrito and my grandson had the carne asada taco. Bothers were very good. Ingredients were fresh and the owner was very friendly and courteous. I would recommend johnnyy’# tacos when you are in Wilder.
