So, I’ve been in Salisbury for roughly 2 years, and I’ve probably driven past this place 20 times. It’s a little unassuming from the outside, but don’t be fooled. This place is fantastic. The people are friendly, the service is fast, the prices are decent and it’s clean and charming inside.
They have plenty of places to sit inside and its pretty much pay at the counter and self-service for drinks. It’s a fast food vibe with a local sit down restaurant feel. Casual, delicious, fast.
The kids menu has good options and they are tastey, I have picky kids, and they were happy!
Bonus: The fries are pretty close to the classic thrashers fry, and there’s plenty of Malt Vinny on the table for you.
Fried chicken on Thursday and Friday, can’t wait to try it!
Update: Back for the Fried Chicken:
Unbelievable, stop what you are doing and come get some of this fried chicken! Absolute perfection. BLT macaroni salad? God damn genius and expertly executed. Only bad thing about this place is I didn’t try it sooner. Great food, great atmosphere, great prices.
Fried chicken is ONLY Thursday and Friday, so get it when you can!

My boyfriend and I dropped in for some late breakfast and we were not disappointed. He got the ham egg and cheese and I ordered the pancake meat and egg platter. When I say i was FULL, I mean full! Generous portions for the price. My pancakes were the size of the plate. Eggs cooked perfectly. I recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

If you have never been here for breakfast, you need to go. The breakfast is amazing and the sandwiches are over stuffed. I usually get the egg, cheese and scrapple sandwich. You can see from the photo how much meat is on it. My wife got the steak, bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Both are delicious.

Stopped in for a quick bite before my flight , very glad I did. Scrapple on wheat was divine, had the fountain drink but check out their bottled drink selection which is quite vast. Highly recommended, looking forward to coming back soon.

We’ve tried other places in Salisbury for cheesesteak subs and this place is so much better. Really fresh, the bread is awesome, and the French fries are addicting…. You don’t even need ketchup. Sub and fries weren’t greasy at all. We will definitely be back to try other things

I got the wing ding special and the chicken was just amazing. Crispy and flavor and the actual meat was tender. My only downside was the fries. They were fine but not spectacular. Will definitely come back.

Johnny’s is always worth the trip! The staff is super friendly, the food is so good, and you can tell they genuinely try to keep prices reasonable. I’d be there all the time if it wasn’t a bit out of the way—but it’s always a treat when I make it.

As soon I walked in I noticed how neat and clean the restaurant is. Their menus are very easy to read. Sadly, they don’t have gluten free bread, but I was able to get a breakfast platter.
I was even offered an extra egg in place of the bread. The prices are very affordable, and the portions are more than enough. I felt at home.
