Im so tired of taking food back. There is never any sauce or meat/toppings on the pizza. It’s just cheese burned to crust. Every time we get a flip there is no meat, no sauce, barely anything in it; and they always forget the garlic butter and dipping sauce. We have been told more than 3 times we would have giftcards mailed to us for the trouble. Never got any. Get it right just one time!

Grew up with this pizza in Louisiana and it’s still number 1 on my all time favorite pizza places. Everything here is always good. This particular Johnny’s was just like the rest. Clean inside and out. Friendly staff and the best food!!!! Thanks and always recommend going here for everyone.

I haven’t been to a Johnny’s in years. This is place was fully staffed, they had employees cleaning consistently, and it was spotless. The food, as I remember, was great. I was very impressed that this location operated so well. Will definitely be returning next time I am in town.

The customer service at this location is horrible!!! All of the staff act like they hate their jobs. I came in at 9:20pm on 1-30-2026. A young man was mopping the floor. Before approaching the counter I asked if they were closing. I was told no in a short, curt tone. It was mine and my husband’s intention to dine in, but because of the attitude of the staff we decided to get our order to go. We were not greeted with smiles or welcome to Johnny’s. We were treated as if our being there was an inconvenience. I wrote this review before receiving my pizza while sitting in the dining room waiting on my order. As much as I love Johnny’s pizza I probably won’t come back to this location.
Edited review: Pizza was 10/10!!! I ordered a large cheese pizza and a medium pepperoni. Both were DELICIOUS!!! Also the young man that cooked my pizza was very kind when he bought to me. He smiled, asked if I needed anything else and bid me a good night. Customer service is 90% of business. A person may not remember your name, but they will for sure remember how you made them feel.

I recently grabbed a pizza from Johnny’s on Southern Loop and it was really good. The crust had a nice crisp to it and the toppings were fresh. Unfortunately, we did forget to get cheese sauce with our breadsticks, which was a bit of a bummer. Also, when we got salad at the buffet, there were no forks to eat it with. I had to ask for them. Overall, though, I’d definitely go back.

Staff is rude, food is wrong most of the time. If the order is right , it is poorly made. Wait time to pick take out is infuriating, when you can see your food 5 feet away and it takes 12 minutes to get it…

I waited 20 minutes for the buffet… I arrived at 11 for lunch when they opened.
The cook today put a ridiculous amount of sauce on every pizza… it’s literally dripping off every slice.. this isn’t rocket science it’s just pizza..about 4 Tbls of sauce will do the trick…please put that person back on delivery because they have no idea how to make a basic pizza.. today the toppings didn’t matter because they all were just sauce pizzas, because that’s pretty much all you could taste.. 2/11/26 just so you’re clear about the soggy buffet today…

I am really kind of shocked at the degree to which this business just flat does not care about customer service. I guess business is just too good. This used to be my favorite place to get pizza, but I don’t think I will ever get it again. Of the last 5 times I have ordered pizza to be delivered, 4 of the times something was wrong. Whether it be forgetting the jalapenos, or extra sauce, or some small thing, or the pizza has gotten cold because it has been a while, but I never complain, and I never really want to wait for something to be remade. I have never once been offered any sort of accommodation designed to make it better. Today, I ordered my usual and after 2 hours and 4 phone calls, discovered that they had accidentally marked it down as pickup instead of delivery. They offered to remake it for me so I could come pick it up. So as of now, it has been 2 and a half hours since I ordered pizza and now I am trying to decide where I am going to be getting dinner.

Johnny pizza is always one of the best pizza places around. This location was fairly clean. Has lots of room for dining. If you haven’t had it, you need to try it. “Sweep the Swamp” says nothing but Louisiana in it’s taste. A little different from original pizza but definitely worth eating… so good 🙂
