This location in Shreveport on Gilbert is very nice, clean and customer service was on point. I like the fact that the young lady at the counter read us our order before paying for. This is something that is no longer happening in the business….CONFIRMING THE CUSTOMER’S ORDER. I love it. The Sheriff there was to handsome and cute. You would think he was working for Johnny’s Pizza House. He was helping the young lady with the orders…This is another one for the books. This will be my new location when coming up from Dallas. 5 stars up for everything.

Having grown up in Shreveport, I have been eating Johnny’s Pizza my whole life. Of all the ones in the area, this location is my favorite. I think the best pizza is a Sweep the Kitchen, thin crust, extra mozzarella, and make sure to include the anchovies and jalapeños!

This is my pickup order from last night, a large specialty pizza known as the Bacon Cheeseburger. This is a ~$20 pizza (out the door), not a budget-conscious ‘party pizza’ with an extra topping or two. It should be loaded up. For comparison, the other image is what the bacon cheeseburger pizza is supposed to look like according to Johnny’s.
Notice how little hamburger there is. And mozzarella cheese. I used to make pizza at Johnny’s when I was younger, so I know how they’re supposed to be made. This ain’t it. And I’m not even complaining too much about the burnt sauce around the edge, though that’s out of spec as well. I get that putting the hamburger on the pizza is a bit tedious and time consuming, but.. this wasn’t during the rush, the store wasn’t busy and it wasn’t closing time.
I suppose my main gripe with the Johnny’s on Gilbert location is lack of consistency. It’s a total crapshoot. Just need you guys to care a little bit more…

Called order in and the turnaround time was about 30 minutes. When I got there it still wasn’t ready but it didn’t take too much longer. However, the taste and quality of the food was worth the wait.

Normally we have no issues with this Johnny’s. We use this store specifically because it is closer to us. Ordered online for delivery, 2 pizzas, a flip & a cookie. Food delivered early, but we were missing the cookie. The delivery driver states he’ll go back and get it for us. Mind you, we live maybe only 4-5 minutes away. We call them at the 20 minute mark, to be told they had to send the delivery driver to another location because they did not have product on hand, it would be another 20-30 minutes before we get our cookie. It has now been TWO hours and they are not picking up phone calls. Will be making a statement to headquarters!! Unprofessional. We were not given an option for a refund OR another product!!

Always perfect Anchovies available upon request for “Sweep the Kitchen” or “Sweep the Swamp”, kids love their unique cut with little crust for the crust wasters. Great specials.
