Johnny’s Pizza in Bryn Mawr was the perfect stop after a great Saturday night. I caught Marty Supreme at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute and then walked over for pizza. Easy, convenient, and a great way to end the evening.
The pizza was excellent, fresh, and exactly what you want after a movie. Service was smooth and the location makes it an ideal neighborhood spot.
I’m also excited to check out Johnny’s Wayne location next, especially since it’s walking distance to our new Real of Pennsylvania real estate office. That review will be coming soon.
Highly recommend the Bryn Mawr location.

Johnny’s cheesesteaks are absolutely phenomenal; it’s personally my favorite cheesesteak I’ve had. The roll is excellent; very crisp and flavorful. The meat and cheese are mixed well, and the ratio of meat-cheese-roll is just right! I’ve had cheesesteaks from both the Bryn Mawr and Wayne location and they have always been consistent and every time I have one I remember why I keep coming back! The Wayne location has a beautiful dining area and the Bryn Mawr location’s dining room is a lot of fun and allows patrons to write on the wall; it’s a really fun touch! Highly recommend supporting this business, the service has always been solid and the quality of the food is top notch!

Excellent cheese steaks and pizza. We got the normal round pizza and Cheese steaks with XTRA – Mozzarella and long hot peppers. Very very good. The sitting area has walls where you can tag yourself and or your on line handle name. Super cool. Meaty cheese steak. Not too fatty. Very very good. I’m not a fan of seeded rolls – but darn this was a great roll. Pizza has a nice dusting of grated parmesan cheese that added to the flavor. Remember to go hungry. !

I’ve ordered pizza here multiple times and it’s always burnt and disgusting. Finally I decided to reach out to management to request a refund but they don’t respond.
Absolutely terrible customer service here but they don’t care because they get enough business from locals and circulating college students to bother.
No good parking for this location either. Not really worth it. There’s plenty of more accessible pizza places with much better tasting options and better customer service. You cannot count on this place to make things right when they sell you a crap products.
They also don’t do online or phone orders usually so you need to go in and order to wait for your food to be cooked. Poorly run operation.

It is rumored that a Jimmy’s cheesesteak, consumed in its entirety, can cure indecisiveness, grant you the ability to parallel park perfectly on the first try, and make you temporarily immune to passive-aggressive comments from your relatives. These claims are, of course, completely unsubstantiated but passionately believed. I can also asert that their cheesesteak is a must if you haven’t been there before.

The standout at this spot, in my opinion, is definitely the cheesesteaks. The meat-to-cheese ratio is spot on, and the seeded rolls are soft yet hold up well, an excellent balance. The square pizza is flavorful, though I personally would have liked a bit more texture to the crust. Overall, the food is great, but the cheesesteaks are truly exceptional and highly recommended.

This was the old Pizzi’s in Bryn Mawr I used to go to all the time when I was younger. Pizzi’s wasn’t very good, but Johnny’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the area IMO. The bread is a toasted sesame hoagie roll which is a little different from the traditional soft amorroso rolls typical of a Philly Cheesesteak, but it’s really very good. A little on the pricey side for a cheesesteak, but worth it occasionally when you want to treat yourself.

Best cheesesteak on the mainline, no contest. Saves me a trip to Angelo’s in south Philly.
Oh, pizza is top notch as well

Alright folks I’m just gonna say it…one of thee’ best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had, no exaggerations.
•Sharp creamy salty cooper sharp cheese
•Flavorful sautéed caramelized onions
•Finely chopped quality seasoned steak meat
And the roll…c’mon!
•Bit of a crisp on the outside with a fluffy and airy breading inside. Not too chewy and overly baked. Sesame seeded roll sets it off with the added nutty flavor!
My brother and I split the steak and ordered the square cup pepperoni pizza. Perfect combo and just held its ground with some of the best I’ve ever had.
Thank y’all for the great taste of home. Won’t be the last time!

Trust the reviews! I decided to try Johnny’s Cheese steak sandwich based on the glowing reviews, and I must say, this place lives up to its reputation. The staff is incredibly friendly, always with a smile and ready to assist. The portion size of the sandwich was quite generous, loaded with meat and cheese. I will definitely be returning in the future.
