The pizza itself was solid no real complaints on taste or quality. I got the New York white pizza, and the slices were really good.

My only big issue was the price and the toppings. This was the most expensive pizza large 18″ I’ve ever bought around $45 total and I still feel like I got shortchanged.

I ordered it with two toppings: roasted red peppers and fried eggplant. Each topping was $3.50 for roasted red peppers and fried eggplant, and since some places skimp on toppings, I specifically asked for extra on both so that was 3.50 for each toppings again for the extra toppings which I knew already. Reviews made it look like they usually put a decent amount on anyway, so I figured extra would mean noticeably more.

When I picked it up, the person behind the counter opened the box, and it didn’t look like extra at all. I even said out loud, “That’s what you call extra?” and she just said yeah. It looked like the standard amount you’d get without paying for extra definitely not what I expected for the upcharge.

So, 3 stars because the pizza was tasty, but I don’t feel I got what I paid for on the extra toppings, and $40–45 for one pizza (especially when it felt skimpy) left a bad taste. I’d probably go back for the quality, but definitely feel disappointed on the extra toppings i paid for. Maybe a discount for the next time?

Pizza was really good. We’re from NY/NJ, and this is the closest New York style pizza we’ve had locally. The salad was generous, fresh, and delicious. I especially loved the Greek Salad with Italian dressing. The garlic knots were great too. Definitely a spot we’ll come back to!

Just moved to the area and wanted to try some pizza. First walking in I was greeted by Justin who explained to me the menu and welcomed me to the area. Received a healthy slice of pepperoni that was fresh and crispy. I also took a Chicago style pizza home that was fresh and flavorful. Will defiantly come back again. Thanks again Justin.

We were close by for my daughter’s softball tournament and stopped in for lunch. The menu is awesome, plenty of choices but it’s not too large. We had pizza and cheese sticks and it all was delicious. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and care about their product. Highly recommend and will be back anytime we’re in the area!

Great experience ordering out here. Since it was our first time, they gave us a free order of garlic knots! The Brooklyn white pizza was a hit as well!

What is this? We ordered to go pizza & buffalo shrimp & wings yesterday & this is their buffalo shrimp. The tiniest shrimp they could find & heavily breaded to hide the fact that it’s all breading. So disappointed because we used to really like this place.

Update: At first I was impressed with how quick the owner responded & seems genuinely sorry & wanting to correct the issue. After I contacted them & thanked them for acknowledging this issue, they said that the improvement on shrimp has already been implemented & let them know when we want to order again. I did contact them again before we ordered & they did not respond- no big deal, we ordered anyway. To my disappointment, the buffalo shrimp is exactly the same ; tiny, heavily breaded . FYI- there was no refund or compensation ever received.

It was a to go order. I order ahead of time so I don,t have to much wait on the peak hour but it look like my pizzas where not fresh but reheat and burn. I was specting so much more for the price. Over $49 for two large pizzas, that if they were good I will not complain. $2 for counted very far spread half pepperoni and $3.50 for the whole sausage very far spread and little cheese.
No thankyou!
This first is the last!

I was in the Apex area today and happened to see a Johnny’s Pizza so decided to get some wings to go. I was first introduced to Johnny’s Pizza back in November at the location in Cary. I enjoyed the food at that restaurant so when I saw this one in Apex, I was excited to try it.

This restaurant has available indoor seating, but it is fairly small. The cashier was welcoming and professional and took my order right away. I ordered two dozen wings in garlic parmesan and mango habanero sauces, respectively.

I asked that my wings be cooked well with a little bit of crisp, so I had a few minutes extra wait time. I was the only customer in the restaurant so the wait wasn’t too bad.

The wings were good. The sauces were definitely the highlight of the wings. Both sauces had a really nice flavor and a bit of a kick. The wing pieces were a good size as well. I took my order to go, and enjoyed them in the comfort of my home.

We had a soccer team dinner at Johnny’s last weekend and Megan and the staff were absolutely amazing! Great food and the most courteous and efficient service we’ve ever experienced. We had 40 people including a bunch of teenagers. Megan let us send her a spreadsheet with each family’s name and their order ahead of our arrival. All the food was marked with a name, and all the hot food was still hot when served. They didn’t rush us at all, but we were amazed that we were in and out of there in an hour! We were from out of town, but we will definitely be back if we ‘re in the area. Thanks again to Megan and the staff!

I am a regular at the Johnny’s Pizza in Fuquay and stopped in here on a whim to avoid the terrible traffic at the Fuquay location. They do things very different here with how they make the pizza and should standardize on how they do it in Fuquay. The crust reminded me more of a saltine cracker than a nice freshe dough like we get at the Fuquay location. The sauce was thin, overly salty and the reheat actually burnt the crust in places. I do enjoy a little color and flavor but I dont enjoy char. If the traffic wasn’t so bad in Fuquay I would be at that location more often. I would recommend that the manager of the Fuquay location, a great guy by the way, go to the Holly Springs location and help them do it like the Fuquay location so that the quality is the same at both locations.
