Best deep fried puffs ever!! Great customer service.
UPDATE:
These absolutely do not taste or feel like they did the day of car cruise. Highly disappointed in my visit today 10/17/23. They were soggy and smaller and nowhere near the amount of pepperoni inside. I was looking forward to these for so long. I will never buy outside the car cruise again.
Update:
Turns out all I had to do was say something and she absolutely fixed my order and remade it for me. I guess the lesson is just say something

Definitely recommend going here if you’re looking to a pizza night! The food is…I have no words, it is just spectacular! Amazing customer service, staff is always super friendly and works butt off in there! I definitely am going here more often in the future! I am so lucky to have found my new go-to spot in Ellwood!

Johnnys Pizza is absolutely fabulous!! I order their meatball sandwich all of the time and it’s always perfect. Not only does it taste amazing, but it’s crafted together perfectly and is so beautiful to look at. It’s always packaged with care!! We love Johnnys!

We got the fish dinners. It came with 2 pieces of fried fish, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. It was all so good! It was $18 and worth every penny! Chris from the Wolverine was cooking fish at Johnny’s. We’ll definitely get it again

I ordered online and there’s a $1.50 convenience charge.
The menu could use a little work–there’s no descriptions or pictures at all. I mean, what IS a goody box? What is a puff??
I thought I was playing it safe with the 12-cut “homestyle” pizza and adding pepperoni. Unbeknownst to me I was buying a $15 pizza without cheese! I didn’t even know that was a thing (it isn’t, is it?)… I thought homestyle was referring to the crust but no. I hope this helps someone else not to make the same mistake I made. Besides that, sauce was great! A little spicy and not overly sweet at all. The crust was amazing: not soggy or doughy at all but crisp and airy. Have to knock off some stars for the online menu though because I would’ve been better off calling up for a pepperoni pizza (with cheese–which is the standard!) but I was hungry and ate it all anyways. I say ditch the online ordering completely and just send flyers around locally–with pictures and food descriptions!
Good food though.

The new owners make the pizza like how it use to be the crust was really good nice and crispy. My only thing was I wish it had more sauce on it.

This place has history. Been around since the 1960’s, and had people lining up in droves in those days, as per my dad’s storytelling. We only got a pepperoni pizza (I prefer to get as many toppings as I can) and it was still great; they don’t skimp. They also still served us just as they were closing up.

This place used to be amazing, been a while since we were here looked forward to it but nothing we had was what it used to be. Pizza crust wasn’t what it used to be it was okay but not great, sauce acidic and the cheese was poor quality not the good stuff I remember. Quality ingredients matter, the price also went up having a 2 topping 12 cut was $26 after tip and you pay first so I did a tip. We were the only ones there and they forgot glasses for pop twice and so had to go to counter to ask again. Not likely to return.
