*This place isn’t that great*

NAAAAAHHHH IM KIDDING!

This place is amazing! I cannot think of one thing to complain about.

Parking: Found a spot with ease.
Customer Service: Amazing!
Food: PHENOMENAL!

I’ve lived in LA for almost 10yrs and I always tell myself I’ll try this spot out.

Me, my buddy and my dog were all hungry and why not finally give Johnny’s a try.

The guy at the register was super cool, you can tell he’s use to first timers and was cool with explaining how to order.

Food came out quick, I didn’t wait more than 10min for my food.

They also threw in a free pup cup for my dog!

I guess the only negative thing I could say would be my granny makes a better Banana Cream Pie. But to be honest she’s a great cook.

I’m sure these guys don’t need my review or recommendation. But if you haven’t tried Johnny’s get there asap!

I hate pickles… but this chicken sandwich with pickles on it completely changed my life!
I don’t know what kind of magic Johnny’s Pastrami in California is working, but this sandwich was unreal — crispy, juicy, full of flavor, and the pickles somehow made it even better (and I never say that).

The fries? Ridiculously good. We also tried the Johnny’s Fries — absolute game changer. If you haven’t been here yet, stop what you’re doing and go. Trust me, it’s worth every bite.

Ordered delivery via an app. I used to eat here frequently as a teenager, and I’m happy to say the quality has stood the test of time! The pastrami sandwich was awesome, with tons of meat! I also ordered Matzo Ball soup, and it was quite good.

First time customer ordered via Postmates and when I tell you the food is delicious. The garlic sauce is amazing and compliments both the sandwich and fries. A nice portion of pastrami is given made just how I like it no pickles extra mustard.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the recent changes at Johnnie’s Pastrami. The price has increased ($18), and the sandwich is now half the size. I remember being able to eat half and save the other for later, and purchase another bun. Now it’s the size of a hotdog bun. Johnnie’s Pastrami west Adams shame on you, yall wrong for this i’ll rock with y’all through gentrification, and I had hope for you I posted my sandwich that I had over a year ago 2-20-24 versus the sandwich I had today 10-6-25 big difference just skimpy I guess I need to go to the in Culver’s city now.

And they stingy on their fries

Had never tried pastrami in my life and grateful this was my first it was delicious!!! I have also had their hot dog which was ok and the brisket sandwich which I enjoyed very much!
Love their outdoor seating there is plenty of space. Of note some of the benches are q bit narrow and easy to tip over so these were had to sit at with kids but there was definitely other seating that was better. We go out for dinner with our son’s friends and families and they run around here safely and enjoy the food too.

Don’t forget to try the dessert which is also very good the s’more’s cup and the banana pie!

The atmosphere was really nice and best at night. Service was ok but could be much better if they have someone assigned to delivers.
We (with a friend of mine who knows about these cuisines better) ordered the matzo ball soup and French dip. I didn’t love them and they were even a bit worse than mediocre. However the banana deserves surprised me and I think I should go again and order the right thing (pastrami).

Extremely salty pastrami, got the pastrami stack on rye. First bite almost takes you back on how salty the sandwich is, not sure if its a different chef then the intentional sandwich but I was Extremely disappointed on how all I could think of was the salt overwhelming any sort of flavor. Got the kinish 5/10 again over salted takes away from the good flavor. Coleslaw 6/10 good flavor too much salt, please tell the sous chefs to be light handed on the salt for the love of christ, best thing i ordered was the grilled cheese again over kill on salt, spent 50 bucks on a jar of mortons salt and some flavor, hard pass for me in the future, happy I tried it but that will be the last time, until the salty factor goes down tremendously.
