NAAAAAHHHH IM KIDDING!
This place is amazing! I cannot think of one thing to complain about.
Parking: Found a spot with ease.
Customer Service: Amazing!
Food: PHENOMENAL!
I’ve lived in LA for almost 10yrs and I always tell myself I’ll try this spot out.
Me, my buddy and my dog were all hungry and why not finally give Johnny’s a try.
The guy at the register was super cool, you can tell he’s use to first timers and was cool with explaining how to order.
Food came out quick, I didn’t wait more than 10min for my food.
They also threw in a free pup cup for my dog!
I guess the only negative thing I could say would be my granny makes a better Banana Cream Pie. But to be honest she’s a great cook.
I’m sure these guys don’t need my review or recommendation. But if you haven’t tried Johnny’s get there asap!
I don’t know what kind of magic Johnny’s Pastrami in California is working, but this sandwich was unreal — crispy, juicy, full of flavor, and the pickles somehow made it even better (and I never say that).
The fries? Ridiculously good. We also tried the Johnny’s Fries — absolute game changer. If you haven’t been here yet, stop what you’re doing and go. Trust me, it’s worth every bite.
And they stingy on their fries
Love their outdoor seating there is plenty of space. Of note some of the benches are q bit narrow and easy to tip over so these were had to sit at with kids but there was definitely other seating that was better. We go out for dinner with our son’s friends and families and they run around here safely and enjoy the food too.
Don’t forget to try the dessert which is also very good the s’more’s cup and the banana pie!
We (with a friend of mine who knows about these cuisines better) ordered the matzo ball soup and French dip. I didn’t love them and they were even a bit worse than mediocre. However the banana deserves surprised me and I think I should go again and order the right thing (pastrami).
