I have been eating at Johnny’s since ‘88 but first time at this location. Totally empty at 5:30 should have been a clue. My ham sub had 2 thin tiny slices of ham 1 at top & 1 at the bottom of the open sandwich. The menu picture shows 2 slices of ham stacked on top of each other with the ham going to the edges of the bread. This is nothing like the sandwich I have purchased so many times before. I wish I had taken a picture before I I ate the 1st half. Some bites had no ham. Never returning to this location.

Under new ownership, I waited 40 minutes for pie one large pie that was greasy yellow from yellow substance on the top. I don’t know what it was. The size has been reduced like a medium from a large. I paid $18. I think that’ll be my last Johnnys old 41 trip. I’ve never waited 40 minutes for a large time 15 tops no apology nothing no thank you an owners parked their own car in the 10 minute spot so I had to park in front inconsiderate of your

The food at this location is truly very good. We’ve always enjoyed their pizzas, etc. However, when we were there this past Tuesday (1/20/25) the thermostat in the restaurant was set to 59 degrees!!! Yes, you read that right….59 degrees!! It was absolutely FREEZING inside the restaurant and this was at 12:15 p.m., over an hour after they had opened. When we mentioned the frigid temperature to the server she stated, “Oh! I wondered why I was so cold.” For a previous visit it was cold as well (67 degrees) but not like this. Every male patron in the restaurant kept their coats on for the duration of their visit which should’ve been a clue. I truly hope that the manager and or manager/owner will read this post and realize that people do NOT like to eat when the ambient temperature in the restaurant isn’t comfortable…at least 70 degrees please! We want to continue to patronize this Johnny’s but if there’s no improvement in the temperature we’ll have to go elsewhere. :(. There’s simply no excuse to have a restaurant this cold!!!

Service has changed went from really good to omg really! That was bad. Just because I don’t want another drink don’t take my current one away when I wasn’t done. Food was ok. Cook was nice and served more than the waitress. Fries undercooked cheesesteak was over chopped to small pieces. Tasted good but not like before. I think it’s time to take a break whike they.Revamp. (hopefully)

Ain’t what it used to be. Razor thin pizza, eggplant parm was mush. Wings, while cooked well had almost no flavor. Really disappointed as Johnnys was the spot back in the day! Dont plan on having a personal conversation here…the acoustics are dreadful and you can hear every single word other tables are saying! Maybe if they played music it wouldn’t have been so awkward.

We were 40 minutes from our destination and Johnny’s NY Pizza was at the 1/2 way mark, it was 9:00, they closed at 10:00 so we called to make an order.
We were driving so we just let it ring and ring and they never picked up for about 15-20 minutes. We were going that way, figured they were busy and stopped into place an order in person. When we walked in, the place was almost empty so I tested the phone from the front door and called and could hear it ringing and just let it ring as I went to the counter to order. 5 employees milling around on cell phones and talking, no one said hi, or came up to help me, the phone is still ringing in the background and I watched as they ignored it. It’s now about 9:20 we are half way home and wanted pizza so I hung up, called out to an employee, she took our order and I waited for it.
I asked her why they didn’t pick up the phone she told me they were busy, hmmm, Okay, on their cell phones and talking…. At any rate, I paid, gave a $5 tip anyway, and took my pizza home, 15-20 minutes away. When I got home and opened the box, I didn’t expect to be hot, but I did expect it to be cooked, the cheese wasn’t melted all the way through and the dough was still gooey.
We finished cooking the pizza and it tasted okay. I would not recommend this restaurant though.
I went back and forth between 1 & 2 stars and settled on 1. I’m not mad or anything and the pizza was okay, but I think they need an adult in charge, or at least someone that could help them to remember that are at work, I assume they get paid for being there, you know an exchange for, um, working.

I paid extra for extra sauce… Seriously johnny’s is no longer in New York style pizza! It’s thick crust all the way. That’s not New York style! From now on mellow mushrooms gonna get my money.

We are from out of town so we asked our hotel a good pizza place and they mentioned Johnny’s. It was a little hard to find as the sign wasn’t lit up amongst the others, and it was tucked back from the main road. When we were inside, we were greeted with a friendly smile and seated quickly. There was a big screen of the game on but not too loud, so you could still hear your conversation. The waitress was very helpful for helping us choose a favorite and was very patient with our little one. The food was excellent and very fair on prices for what you got! Next time we are in town again, im coming back!

We had cousins in town and took them here for the Monday cheese pizza deal. We were served quickly and the pizza was very yummy. Great ranch, also.

Tried this location out, after visiting the location in Hiram a few months back. It was amazing, food was awesome, customer service was spot on, and the countless Tv’s are always entertaining to see what games are on. Will definitely be back to these locations!
