I visited Johnny’s Pizza today around 11:39 AM and had a frustrating experience with their pricing. I ordered the calzone lunch special, which should have been $12.99 with a $1.00 discount (making it $11.99), including a drink and one regular topping. I did receive the $1.00 discount, but I was charged for all three toppings (Pepperoni $1.89, Mushrooms $1.89, Feta $2.49) instead of just two, even though one topping should have been included. On top of that, I was charged an extra $2.99 for a drink that should have been free with the special, and my total came to $22.53! I should have paid around $17.34 with only two extra toppings and tax, not $22.53. The menu is confusing for the server, the staff offered no explanation, and I feel overcharged. Avoid this place unless you enjoy misleading pricing and poor communication skills!
Update : still haven’t heard anything from the owner as promised by Johnny’s customer service 7/2/25
As of 12/30/25 no response from the manager. I would avoid this location at all costs there are many other great locations in metro Atlanta.
About 12 bucks, (a tip included) for dry pep pizza… NOT HAPPY! Oh, the service was ok….I said ok….not bad just ok.
Yep, maybe a different location for sure. Lunch is time, time is money and money is too hard to earn to be paying out for crap items, service or food.
Right America!!!
Went for lunch on Nov 14 around 3.
Tables were wet and had to dry them off myself.
Ordered the Chili and Cheesey Bread. The chili was good but there was maybe 1 scoop if that in the bowl. Waffle House generally serves you 3-4x the size for $1 less. Cheesy bread was not what it says on the menu. It’s was just a bunch of cheese on top of a fluffy slize of pizza which parts were too crunchy to eat.
Wait staff was nice but only came by to take my order and bring the check.
Not a “New York” spot, just an average pizza place. If they want customers they need a full rework. Would suggest they take some notes from Romeo’s pizza, Little Italy Athens, or even Vinny’s for that matter. Lunch total cost me $20 for what I got. Not worth it at all.
Service was non existent. Server took our order, then dropped off our drinks and never came back until we had to ask another server for the check.
I feel bad because I’m sure there are people that value their work that work at this location, but maybe I’ve just learned that Johnny’s will never be for me
A couple of notes: 1) the portions were huge! I’m usually a two slice guy but one slice was plenty. My wife’s large salad was huge too; 2) the per slice prices on pizza were very affordable. Actually the prices were great for everything. It’s a good value; 3) the Buffalo Sauce was legit and spicy (the way it is supposed to be); 4) everything tasted great.
This was a a fun find. I would definitely go back.
Well they lost a local customer and one who will tell all my customers not to go here anymore.
Capoes to the rescue and now me and my family’s new go to
