Went out for date night and first off we got the spinach artichoke dip with raspberry limoncello. The artichoke dip was ok, needed salt & pepper and could’ve had the artichokes cut bit smaller.
For dinner he got the Johnny’s channel no. 5 which is cheese ravioli topped with lobster, shrimp, artichokes, prosciutto, spinach and sun dried tomatoes with a garlic cream sauce. This was fantastic, one thing I’d change is removing the tails from the shrimp however shrimp in this were cooked perfectly.
For his side he had lobster Mac & cheese and they did full order so we have lots of leftovers. This was very tasty!
I had the Parmesean crusted new York strip medium rare, which came with crab stuffed shrimp and side of zucchini and summer squash. The steak was cooked perfectly but not sure I liked the Parmesean crusting and the shrimp were good maybe slightly chewy and needed tails removed.
We brought home the limoncello cake. We had the cake at home and it was quite lovely. Nice and lemony and the cream was nice and light. #cincyphotographer #datenight #cincyfoodie #lunaprojectart

We had a nye reservation for 7:30, we sat down at around the time of our reservation. We were sitting for 40 minutes and were only given water and undercooked bread. Didn’t even have anyone waiting on us or anything. No drink menu nothing. Absolutely abysmal service or lack there of. Never coming back again which is unfortunate because both of the previous experiences weren’t bad at all. We ended up leaving after 40 minutes and heard multiple people complaining about the bread being “doughy.”

Great restaurant, with the best fettuccine pasta in town. I added a salmon and it was super tasty! Friendly staff, nice decorations and perfect location with plenty of parking spots to park your car. Enjoy the potato soup, it was really good too.

Loved eating here! Had a very friendly greeting from the front desk right as you walk in! We had an amazing waiter named Steve. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and showed the best options. My favorite was the dessert, the coconut waffers and ice cream with chocolate all combined made a never forgetting taste. Hopefully we can have another experience like this soon!

I ordered the chicken parmesan dinner. The pasta was delicious, the chicken parmesan was good until the second piece , it was not cooked all the way. The young gentleman that was my waiter was very apologetic I made sure there was compensation for the meal. Eating there again tonight hope dinner is better.

Christy was fantastic! One of the best experiences eating out in quite sometime. Everything from the bread to the appetizer to the dinner was stellar. We ordered the sampler to start and was amazed at how much food it contained. This could easily be shared with 4-5 people! You can tell this restaurant has a high quality of food at great prices…even though it’s inside of the Holiday Inn you must stop and eat here if you want good food. Will definitely return!

Took my wife for mother’s day dinner. We both got steak she got the filet with mashed potatoes and veggies and I got the parmesan crusted NY strip with a baked potato. Steaks were cooked perfect and I really liked the parmesan crust. We both had salad that came with the meals and they were delicious. We also each got a cup of the french onion soup and it was probably the best I have ever had. You also get bread with oil and it was very good. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely add Johnny’s to our list of regular spots.

My wife and I loved the food and our waiter. My steak was fantastic and she enjoyed her chicken parmesan. One dessert was on the house for our anniversary. I thought the dessert tasted like it had been frozen. Overall, excellent experience.

Great food, very flavorful. They are on a limited menu right now. Nice atmosphere however, they could turn the lights up a bit. Well worth the trip. Takes you back in time a bit!
