If you like Italian food, you’ve got to try this place. I’ve eaten here for a few years now, and often. I believe the husband cooks while the wife serves. They are both very pleasant, we always feel very welcome. The food is spectacular. All of it. I’ve had most things on the menu but, the sea bass picata is my favorite. The spaghetti and meatballs are exceptional. Also, they have gluten free noodles!!

Been wanting to go here for awhile now and tonight I stopped in for dinner. I had the Sea bass picate and my son had the lobster ravioli. We had the caesar salad as a side and complimentary rolls. Both of the dishes were fantastic and very flavorful. Small portions so no leftovers but it was very good quality and restaurant was very clean and staff was attentive. Will definitely go back again

My wife and I went to Johnny’s Italian Restaurant last week and really enjoyed our meals. My wife had an Italian trio meal (can’t remember the name) and enjoyed it. I had the “Spaghetti The Works” and i will say, this is exactly how spaghetti should be!!!! This was by far, the best restaurant spaghetti that I’ve ever had. It had a meat sauce, meatballs, AND Italian sausage. Their prices were very reasonable.

Well, even though I’ve lived in Choctaw for quite a long time, this was my first time going here. I saw a FB post about how people come from all over to eat here so I had to try it. The food was amazing. Everything had a really great flavor and was absolutely yummy. Our waitress was wonderful. She was very friendly and cheerful. Obviously this place is popular, because it was crowded. It was a Saturday too, so the crowd was to be expected. However, due to the set up of the restaurant, it was very loud. The tables are very close and there were two women near us that I could hear every single word of their conversation cearly as if I were part of it. And besides them, it was just loud. Then they turned on music which made everyone just talk louder. The table behind us was occupied by people that brought in a dog (not a service dog by any stretch of the imagination). To me, dogs that are clearly not service dogs, do not belong in restaurants. The wait staff seemed to be confused and kept taking plates up to tables and asking if it was theirs when it wasn’t. Maybe there were communication issues tonight, but it seemed kind if chaotic. Maybe some of the people were new. It was jam packed full and busy. My only other complaint is that I saw was that the waitress was taking a to go box to a table but she had her hands full of lots of stuff so she grabbed the shakers of cheese and red pepper off the counter and transported them inside of the to go box. Then she gave that to someone to put their left overs in. I will say that the restaurant seemed incredibly clean so I’m sure the counters were clean, but still, people have their hands all over those shakers. I don’t mean to leave a bad review, the food was excellent. The restaurant was clean. The staff was amazingly nice. That checks all my good restaurant to get food from boxes. I do plan to eat there again but I think either very off peak hours or to go only. I do recommend Johnny’s, just keep those things in mind if you don’t like loud, crowded places.

I’ve been here several times now. At my most recent visit, the bread was burnt, and when I ordered the pear and blue cheese salad, it came with no pears. I asked the server and she said “oh. We’re out, do you want something else?” Instead of telling me before bringing the salad out. The vodka sauce is really good.

Was excited to eat here, I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. However was a little disappointed. We arrived at 6:20 pm and had to wait an hour for our food after being seated immediately. Our poor waitress was new, it was actually her very first day. Food was delicious despite the long wait, for this I give it four stars.

What a taste of Italy! Amazing authentic Italian food with a touch of Oklahoma. Ribeye steak you can cut with a spoon and no steak sauce needed!! Chicken Paccata is the best in Oklahoma. Try something new every time we come here and never disappointed. If I had to complain about anything it would be the lack of server’s. The owner work in the store and make you feel like family as soon as you walk in!!

I tried this place once before and the lady/owner/waitress was not nice at all. I thought maybe there was a medical reason she couldn’t smile or be nice. Then an elder couple came in and she was nice to them, knew them (regulars). Food was good. Decided to try again before giving a review. Tried it today and it was so bad that my 2 guests said “Do we have to eat here?” Wr waited 10 minutes to be waited on. They sent bring bread before the meal, but with the meal. I figured out why. The service ducks so bad because of her terrible attitude, that they know if they don’t wait to give the bread, you will eat the bread, then leave because of the service (or lack of) and not order food. A family came in as I was paying WAY TOO MUCH FOR THE MEDIOCRE FOOD, but when they were not even greeted by the woman, they left. I gave the second chance, and she ruined it. One of my guests said “Her attitude ruined my birthday party”. Will never go back. Glad for you “regulars” who at least get a smile.

What a great locally owned restaurant. The owners are from Italy and truly care about the quality of food they provide. The ravioli and fettuccini noodles are made from scratch. My husband and I enjoyed everything we had-including the dessert. Nice, quiet, clean place to eat and chat. Highly recommend.

This restaurant was a surprising find in a strip mall. The food was amazing!! The decor was very nice. But I felt sorry for the 2 employees who had to be greeters, take phone orders, be the waiter/waitress, buss the tables all the while every table was full and take-out orders piling in. Where was the rest of the staff?!? Management should have been there helping them – but maybe they were the cook! Who knows. What I do know is that this young man and woman did an amazing job doing EVERYTHING there was to do in a restaurant!! And with a cherry smile and loads of patience.
You could tell it is popular by how busy it was.
