This place used to be fantastic but now it’s just terrible! Rude waitress, cold food that did not seem homemade or authentic Italian. Check out the slice of sandwich cheese on top of the lasagna and stuffed shells!! It had even re-hardened before being brought to the table. They did comp our check and asked us to give them another chance but won’t be returning!!

Great customer service our waitress AVIE was wonderful ❤️❤️ slight mixup, not in her control however, she was very quick to make it right and to see one person running 4-5 different jobs all while we were still served hot food on time was delicious. It speaks volumes for her character, her dedication so Thank you again, AVIE for your wonderful service and prompt attention❤️❤️ will definitely go back again as the location was clean atmosphere was nice thank you Johnny’s Italian restaurant. Ok the bread is so addictive and you can choose how much olive oil you want with the seasoning but now the food I got spaghetti and meatballs so good the meat balls are soft the pasta is ok I mean it’s pasta you can’t do much with pasta besides seasoning the pasta too was good 9.0 out of 10 and boneless wings.8.0 out of 10 not the best but still amazing we also got the international salid I didn’t have it but it looked good 9.5 out of 10 (from the looks) over all 8.7 out of 10 this time.

Ethan (host) did a great job with a rush of people coming in before a show at Ruth Eckerd Hall. He stayed calm and organized. Melissa’s attentiveness to her tables shows as she did a good job making sure drinks were kept full. The salad was fresh, I could actually taste the different flavors in the salad. The veal was okay. The chicken parmesean was okay as well. My wife was not a fan of the marinara sauce. Overall was a good experience.

The place is full to the brim, you don’t have to make reservations and that’s why we waited 30 minutes. Maybe it was because we arrived at rush hour for dinner. The food was normal, nothing special. Our waiter was a bit rough man, whom does not offer you cheese, nor refill your glass of water, when I was asking for my entree, he cut me and continued with my husband’s order, which I thought was not nice at all, he should explain us the size of the food portion, and then wait if we want to order something else.

We had dinner with friends to celebrate birthdays. We made a reservation which was a great idea because they were super busy. The service was excellent. The food absolutely delicious. My husband had the veal piccata which he said was some of the best he has ever had. My veal parmigiana was delicious. The soup and salad we each had was great and the bread that came with it was delicious. A great choice for a casual Italian dining experience.

First time at Johnny’s, my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs he liked it very much. He especially liked the bean chili. I had the boiled shrimp scampi. Wasn’t my favorite. But I just think it’s because I’m used to having a little bit different scampi never had this type before. Atmosphere is nice service was good will try it again.
