What a wonderful meal. The service was attentive and entertaining. The sause served with the calamari was spicy in the most delicious way. All the salmon dishes were cooked wonderfully. Must return.

Popular place! Friendly, attentive service all around. Cocktail was excellent. Tried a specialty pizza slice – just ok for me. However the Steak Diane w/fettuccine and Eggplant Parm w/spaghetti were both quite delicious. Would return.

If you like classic no baloney Italian: this is it. New Orleans style with a full bar, low lights and divine red sauce.
The homemade bread is AMAZING, the service is SWIFT!! I just love my pasta..better than Hella’s house salad dressing hands down

Consistently inconsistent… been coming here for 30 years while eating in is always great the take out is just terrible. Most recently paid $16 for a buffalo chicken salad that came out with with little lettuce including the end of the head, missing toppings, and just poor quality.

Do you ever look at your bill? You should. I order take out. When one specific woman answers the phone, she adds an additional charge to my order. I asked about the inconsistent price as my order is always the same and no one else changes the cost. She told me they have new owners and they don’t give out anything for free. She could loose her job over giving away free bread.
I ordered a few more times and price was as usual, no extra charge. But the second time this same woman answered the phone, she charged me for 1 bread but put 3 pieces in the bag (I had 2 meals). Told me not to expect it again.
A few more orders and they were at regular cost. Last night before picking up, I walked inside and spoke with management about their policy. I was told that bread was included and he would like to know who was overcharging on the bill. Told him that I would be right back after I paid for my order. I went to the take out counter to pay for my order. I told the woman that I just spoke with John, and there should not be any additional charge for bread. She said no, and added it to my bill. I paid for my food and asked for her name. I walked over to John. I told him that I was over charged for a third time by Paige. His response was ok, thanks. No apologies or any effort to correct the overcharge. Very poor management!

We went to dinner here on 11/01/2025 and our server was Danny. She was amazing to us! Recommended dishes, was attentive to our drinks, our food came out quick and hot. The environment was relaxed and restaurant smelled good. We will definitely be back to this restaurant. Great service and amazing food.

This is the second time that I have been to Johnny’s and I ordered a steak salad. The menu says it is a filet mignon Caesar salad. I have no complaints on the taste of the food, the steak was cooked correctly and tasted great, the salad was great, and the dressing was great. The only problem is they give you six pieces of steak for this big salad, which is not nearly enough and they say that it’s filet mignon. I don’t know if most people can tell the difference between sirloin steak and filet mignon but I can. My family raises our own beef, we also process it cutting and packaging it filet mignon is not grainy and is very tender because it comes from the heart of the Lion. Both times a steak I had was a little bit tough although it was very tasty it had cartilage or drechsel in it which you will not find in filet if it had not been for those two issues I would have had no problem giving five stars all the way around. I would still suggest this restaurant it is a very nice restaurant that serves very good food.

This forty five year neighborhood Italian Family Restaurant is conveniently located between U.S. Hwy 19 and McMullen Booth Road. The menu has plenty of Italian dishes to choose from and there is something for everyone. The waitress Tammy, was friendly, polite and very accommodating. The service was timely and expedited perfectly. I ordered Iced Tea and it was somewhat weaker than I prefer. The fresh crusty bread and dried herbs (which they allowed you to choose how much olive oil to combine with) to make the bread dipping oil was outstanding! The salad was fresh and the Blue Cheese dressing was delicious. I ordered Shrimp Scampi over Linguini, however, I was served Fettuccini Alfredo and Shrimp Scampi on the side. The Fettuccini Alfredo was hot and cooked correctly. The Shrimp Scampi included nice size shrimp and it was hot and flavorful. The management came to greet me at my table and inquired regarding the quality of my meal and whether I was enjoying my lunch. I feel that this place is and should be an important part of our area neighborhoods. I recommend that you patronize this restaurant and add it to your list of dinner choices!

Food is delightful, bread is fantastic! I’ve never had to wait for my food to cool down to eat. We had the calamari, chicken franchise, linguine and clam sauce, chicken Milanese, and a cheese calzone.
