I got the epic Philly steak with tater tots and fries and man it was so good!! Huge shoutout to John who greeted me once I walked in and truly gave service above and beyond. Johnny Hungry Hoagies was excellent. The chicken steak hoagie was cooked fresh with sautéed vegetables, and the bread was perfectly soft. The Parmesan waffle fries were a great touch. The staff member working solo was very polite and handled a busy rush impressively. Outdoor seating was a bonus on a beautiful day. Will definitely return!

I have been to Johnny’s two times now in 2 weeks. You walk in and your greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. They are happy to make suggestions if you haven’t been there before. Both times the food came out warm and fresh. And always delicious. The steak and cheese with tater tot’s was absolutely amazing on my first visit. And today’s visit the staff talked me into the Caesar wrap, which was probably one of the best grilled chicken Caesar wraps I’ve ever had. Don’t turn a blind eye on this restaurant because it is very good

I ordered takeout for my first visit. Instructions were not followed with my order. I requested bread not be toasted. My bread was burnt. I requested mayonnaise, oil, vinegar, and dressing. None are present. They are generous with meat which I can appreciate, but biting into a dry slab of average cold cuts betwixt burnt bread is irksome. Tater tots were great, Fries were fine, and for the short time in the establishment it was nice; bathrooms could use some work. Staff were phenomenal in customer service, and food was prepared fast and efficient. Jersey Mike’s or Publix have them beat food wise, but if you’re into vibes and atmosphere this is your place.

The tater tots were amazing and the tenders were nice and crispy. Best part was the service! Everywhere was full on Valentine’s Day and we just wanted a quick snack but Debbie was incredible and made our experience so special! Really went above and beyond!

Ive been craving and Italian sandwich for weeks until I decided to try Johnnie’s. At first, I was surprised by the amount the great size of the sandwich and when I tried I was mindblown by the high quality. I had investigate further and to surprise I found that it is a local establishement in FTL. The service, food and ambience are amazing. I will comeback to try the wagyu sandwich!

Overall great experience. My friend and I walked in at the end of the night, towards closing and we wouldn’t have even noticed. The gentleman working by himself was very attentive and efficient, very friendly and accommodating. Laser focused on customer service, went out of his way to ensure the 4 guests that walked in before us and ourselves felt valuable and appreciated to the business. No care that we were about to infringe on his time to go home. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! haha. I only feel terrible that I forgot his name, as this was two weeks ago on August 15th.

What a much-needed gem in the neighborhood! We stopped by this fast-casual sandwich spot on a whim and were immediately impressed by how clean and well-designed the space is. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive.
I ordered the Epic Steak (think Philly cheesesteak, but better), while my boyfriend went for the Italian sub. We made them both combos and shared the tots and waffle fries, both were huge portions, in the best way! Every bite was flavorful, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced.
This is officially our go-to sandwich spot in Las Olas. If you haven’t been yet, it’s a must-try!

Around lunchtime, we decided to try a spot we’d seen all over Instagram—Johnny’s hungry hoagies in Fort Lauderdale. I believe their original location is in Miami, but this one wasn’t too far from our hotel (we were staying at the Hyatt), so we figured we’d give it a shot. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The customer service was excellent—they took the time to explain the menu, the story behind Johnny’s, and what made their subs special. I had the Italian, my wife had the tuna, and both were absolutely delicious. You can tell they put real care into making each sandwich. Surprised it wasn’t busier—maybe because it’s tucked inside an office building—but that just means no wait! Highly recommend if you’re near Las Olas or downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Came in today for lunch and man oh man was our experience special! Joe curated our Steak and Chicken Parm subs exactly how we asked. Both came out hot and tasted delicious. All our previous experiences was takeout, but will definitely make time to dine in going forward.
