Johnny’s Diner has been on my list for a while but is a 30 minute drive for me so I finally stopped in for breakfast. It was worth the trip. The service was very good. They have specials on the board up front and the menu said to ask server for today’s selection of homemade deserts. I am glad that I did ask as they had key lime pie. I rarely see it here in Ohio so I told me server that I would have that after my breakfast. The coffee was very good and was topped off several times. I am a big fan of house made corned beef hash and already knew that was my breakfast choice. It is called the Hudson Hash Skillet. It comes with homemade corned beef hash, 2 eggs, and their famous hash browns with a side of toast. I loved it. The corned beef was fresh and the hash browns were crispy as I like it. I have never had them served that way but I loved it. The rye toast was also good. The place had a nice 50’s diner look to it. There was a decent crowd on a Saturday at noon so this place must be popular. I finished up with the key lime pie. It was delicious. I wish this was closer to me but I am rarely out in Hudson. I used to work in Hudson 20 years ago and this was a favorite lunch spot when it was the Deli On Rye. The next time I am nearby I will try lunch. I highly recommend Johnny’s Diner.

Such a fantastic diner. This was our first time here. At a new diner I always get the BLT and fries and Bean gets eggs, bacon and toast. Everything was flawless. I also tried a pancake which was also beyond reproach. Our server couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful when it came to answering questions about the menu. This is now our go-to place when we want diner food.

Took my family to Johnny’s Diner in Hudson for a late breakfast, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and fast. The atmosphere has that classic Americana diner vibe, with a nostalgic charm that makes you feel right at home.
I ordered the Greek omelette with a side of pancakes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the food came out hot and fresh. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals just as much—everyone left full and happy.
With drinks included, we paid about $20 per person, which felt like a great deal for the quality and experience. If you have the opportunity to stop by, definitely check it out. Johnny’s Diner is a local gem worth the visit.

First time here for brunch. Had the Jersey omelette with a side of sausage links. Large size omelette tasted good. Hubby had short stack, bacon and hashbrowns, all were good. Nice atmosphere. Cool vibe. Thanks!

Very friendly staff and a very casual and comfortable atmosphere!
The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. It was seat yourself so we chose a booth.
Our waitress greeted is fast and brought our drinks to us quickly.
Very pleasant and patient as my talkative son decided what he wanted on his waffle. We chose the carmel mocha as we wanted to indulge just a tiny bit
The atmosphere is a 50’s diner and the background music matched! The only thing missing was the 50’s waitress uniforms! But I can give them a pass on that!
The food was good. But the omelette I ordered was just a little overcooked. Which is where I am deducting one star. Otherwise an overall nice breakfast experience.
They are open for breakfast and lunch…. so we will definitely be stopping by again to try the burgers. The shakes I saw them preparing looked extremely appetizing!

Went here for the first time today. Service was great. Karen was our waitress and she was awesome. There also was a friendly hostess too. Food was ok, not bad, not great. Cool diner feel. It was rather dirty-The floor, the bathroom, the kitchen. There also was a sewer smell that was noticeable. I wouldn’t avoid the place, but I don’t think I’d make a special trip to eat there.

The food here was pretty good, and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about what was on the menu. This made it very easy to decide between a couple of choices.
