The price hikes here are ridiculous. Over the past 2 years, prices have literally DOUBLED. And the food quality has not changed. Ridiculous.

The quality has severely declined over the past three years. High prices, slow service, and the inability to use debit/credit cards negates the only benefit of having this place on campus. Go to McDonald’s; you’ll be less disappointed and actually able to pay. Finally, Johnnys recently stopped toasting their breakfast sandwiches, making them very soggy and disappointing. Would not recommend going unless physically forced to.

The favorite place on campus for many Calvin College students, Johnny’s is the best place to get a quick snack or even a full meal when you’re sick of dining hall food. It has great study spaces and a community atmosphere as well.

Quality food, but a little overpriced. If you want a hot breakfast, McDonald’s is a more frugal choice.
